Leonardo DiCaprio

The Prius-driving Hollywood star is the leading climate change celebrity.

DiCaprio has received praise from environmental groups for opting to fly on commercial flights instead of chartering private jets.

His actions have inspired other celebrities, such as Orlando Bloom and Penelope Cruz. Co-wrote, co-produced and narrated the film 11th Hour and cites global warming as "the number one environmental challenge."

Thom Yorke

Lead singer of critically acclaimed rock outfit Radiohead, is outspoken on various contemporary political and social issues.

Yorke made headlines for refusing former prime minister Tony Blair's request to meet him to discuss climate change, declaring Blair had "no environmental credentials."

Yorke has subsequently been critical of his own energy use. He has said the music industry's use of air transport is dangerous and unsustainable, and that he would consider not touring if new carbon emissions standards do not force the situation to improve.

Radiohead commissioned a study by the group Best Foot Forward which the band claims helped them choose venues and transport methods that will greatly reduce the carbon expended on their 2008 tour. The band also made use of a new low-energy LED lighting system and encouraged festivals to offer reusable plastics.

We all know that there are a lot people drunk on kool-aid. They think that the truth about climate change is a direct attack on their god "algore" and they will defend him to the end with their dying breath.

Someone needs to write up a concise precis of what was discovered in the Climategate dump, then make sure it receives wide coverage. I hate spam, but perhaps one of those “forward this to four friends” kind of mails might be a good idea. They’re viral, and impossible to stop.

The science of CAGW was weak to begin with, and now that we know it’s based on out-and-out fraud starting with the hockey stick, there’s no way one single red cent should go towards it - much less any tax money!

I’m hoping to go on an Alaskan polar bear hunt sometime in 2012, myself... =:-D

What I've been wondering is what to expect from all those involved in the Copenhagen meeting of the thugs i.e. what will be the spin to expect in the run-up, who will now go, what will be said, will Climategate even be mentioned.... basically, how the heck are they going to deal with the fiasco that now faces them? I heard Sen Inhofe on a radio interview this weekend say that he and his "truth squad" are going to Copenhagen to hound John Kerry everywhere he goes with the Climategate evidence. Inhofe also says he's scheduled to speak before the IPCC.

Should be fun!
