What an amazing few days on the road this has been. Your spirits have been high, your faith strong and your spine unbendable. I ended my multiday book tour at The Villages with what had been billed as a rally but could be better described as a candid citizen-to-citizen chat.
Today, I have stopped looking for a leader to show us the way out because I have come to realize that the only one who can truly save our country...is us. To change America's course we need to change ourselves, our expectations and our willingness to accept the unacceptable.
When we refuse to allow our children to receive a trophy for participation, we are on the road to restoring the meaning of merit in our Republic. When we insist that no one is too big to fail, we will be able to learn from our mistakes, and when we demand that we are self-reliant, we will ensure that others can rely on us, not the government.
There is much to do, much to learn and time is of the essence. While I will be explaining the entire Plan over the coming weeks and months, I did want to give you a preview of some of the highlights:- Education is key, and not just for our children. To that end, we will be conducting a series of conventions. These will be full-day experiences where you will be immersed in learning about topics ranging from self-reliance, community organizing, the economy and how to be a political force in your own neighborhood and country.
The first one will be in Orlando at UCF Arena on March 27th. You will also be able to vote to have a convention in your region by clicking here.
- I have begun meeting with some of the best minds in the country that believe in limited government, maximum freedom and the values of our Founders. I am developing a 100 year plan.
I know that the bipartisan corruption in Washington that has brought us to this brink and it will not be defeated easily. It will require unconventional thinking and a radical plan to restore our nation to the maximum freedoms we were supposed to have been protecting, using only the battlefield of ideas.
- All of the above will culminate in The Plan, a book that will provide specific policies, principles and, most importantly, action steps that each of us can take to play a role in this Refounding.
- On August 28, 2010, I ask you, your family and neighbors to join me at the feet of Abraham Lincoln on the National Mall for the unveiling of The Plan and the birthday of a new national movement to restore our great country.

THe dems are a lost party there are a few good indys however.
Getting fired up is one thing, staying fired up is the chore.

MY hubby likes Beck. I do believe he's done a lot of good things but I'm beginning to have real concerns about him and when I see people reacting to him with this kind of emotion, I get real skeptical.
I prefer the 1 year plan. Get rid of the commies in 2010.

Yeah, we have heard this song before. How about paying attention to what is going on rather then blindly raging against the parties?
No system made by men is ever going to be perfect. There are always going to be flaws in it. Demanding 100% perfect in anything is a notion for fools. What one must do is pick the side that most often agrees with their views. Not just vote for the cult of personality manufactured by a politicians PR team.
In 2006 and 2008 we had Freepers around here who spent all their time telling us "Better a Conservative Democrat then a RINO." Today EVERY single one of those "Conservative" Democrat Senators is voting to nationalize the US Health Care System, every single "RINO" is voting against it.
When you vote, you are not only voting for that candidate, you are also voting for who controls the levers of power in DC. People need to remember that, not just vote for the canidate with the best sounding campaign speeches.
Does Beck ever discuss foreign policy?
I don’t see anything that calls for aggressive prosecution of the war against Jihadism.

I kinda see Beck as part of the puzzle. He offers lots of great thoughts, ideas and inspiration. But, when I want to get to the source of things I begin with Rush.(that’s after we feed him what he needs for the week)

party organizers, the Moms ... those who
were never ACTIVE before who now are.
They’re putting their time and efforts ..their

They’re no different or wonderful than the
housewives who went to work in defense plants
in WWII .. this IS A WAR.
We need the government that the Founders
envisioned: citizen senators and reps, who
serve one or two terms and GO HOME to mind
their neighborhoods, towns and states.
What we’ve evolved to are political empires
.. with excessive influence and power brokers,
who only care and vote to facilitate winning
the next election, promising the moon with OUR
money to those who contribute the funds to enable
their victories.
WE SURE NEED TERM LIMITS!
We know third parties are not the answer,but I still would like to get rid of as many rinos as possible.
I'm tired of hearing what the libs are going to do us; it's time the libs hear what we are going to do to them.
War is all hell, and we are in a war for this country.
So, I don't care if Glenn Beck calls his plan the "Hold Your Breath Until You're Blue" plan, or "Stand in the Center of the Room and Scream at the Top of Your Lungs" plan. The libs will do what they always do... lie, distort, and lie some more.

I despise Beckel with every bone in my body, BUT what he says is true. They (Communists) have captured our education system, as they promised. Nobody listened and now we are in deep doo-doo.
