Yeah, we have heard this song before. How about paying attention to what is going on rather then blindly raging against the parties?
No system made by men is ever going to be perfect. There are always going to be flaws in it. Demanding 100% perfect in anything is a notion for fools. What one must do is pick the side that most often agrees with their views. Not just vote for the cult of personality manufactured by a politicians PR team.
In 2006 and 2008 we had Freepers around here who spent all their time telling us "Better a Conservative Democrat then a RINO." Today EVERY single one of those "Conservative" Democrat Senators is voting to nationalize the US Health Care System, every single "RINO" is voting against it.
When you vote, you are not only voting for that candidate, you are also voting for who controls the levers of power in DC. People need to remember that, not just vote for the canidate with the best sounding campaign speeches.
We know third parties are not the answer,but I still would like to get rid of as many rinos as possible.
Thank you. Unfortunately, there are many here too stupid to see the nose in front of their face that is bleeding profusely. Their zealotry is a bigger threat to our country than the Dems because they are going to fracture the Republican Party, thereby leaving them in power in 2010 and onward.
