Friends,
What an amazing few days on the road this has been. Your spirits have been high, your faith strong and your spine unbendable. I ended my multiday book tour at The Villages with what had been billed as a rally but could be better described as a candid citizen-to-citizen chat.
Today, I have stopped looking for a leader to show us the way out because I have come to realize that the only one who can truly save our country...is us. To change America's course we need to change ourselves, our expectations and our willingness to accept the unacceptable.
When we refuse to allow our children to receive a trophy for participation, we are on the road to restoring the meaning of merit in our Republic. When we insist that no one is too big to fail, we will be able to learn from our mistakes, and when we demand that we are self-reliant, we will ensure that others can rely on us, not the government.
There is much to do, much to learn and time is of the essence. While I will be explaining the entire Plan over the coming weeks and months, I did want to give you a preview of some of the highlights:- Education is key, and not just for our children. To that end, we will be conducting a series of conventions. These will be full-day experiences where you will be immersed in learning about topics ranging from self-reliance, community organizing, the economy and how to be a political force in your own neighborhood and country.
The first one will be in Orlando at UCF Arena on March 27th. You will also be able to vote to have a convention in your region by clicking here.
- I have begun meeting with some of the best minds in the country that believe in limited government, maximum freedom and the values of our Founders. I am developing a 100 year plan.
I know that the bipartisan corruption in Washington that has brought us to this brink and it will not be defeated easily. It will require unconventional thinking and a radical plan to restore our nation to the maximum freedoms we were supposed to have been protecting, using only the battlefield of ideas.
- All of the above will culminate in The Plan, a book that will provide specific policies, principles and, most importantly, action steps that each of us can take to play a role in this Refounding.
- On August 28, 2010, I ask you, your family and neighbors to join me at the feet of Abraham Lincoln on the National Mall for the unveiling of The Plan and the birthday of a new national movement to restore our great country.
I’m beginning to think he’s a nut. If he’s calling for the end of the two party system, what is his idea to replace it? There’s no need to replace the two party system. Is he hoping to be some kind of cult leader?

I know how to vote. I know how to speak up. I do whenever I hear someone speaking lies instead of truth.
I vote. I write letters. I make phone calls. I get my family involved.
I am not afraid.

We just need to START USING IT!
Yeah....but you could also use the argument that Mao and Stalin ALSO had their ‘little plans’. i.e. The Great Leap Forward, etc.
Just a thought, but I don’t know many who
are part of a united front
-banding together now in an organization
to promote the conservative view
-getting on the ground experience in what it
takes for such an organization to be a legitimate
and effective force for good for our purposes
and goals
And he has fired up the 9/12 Project, the
tea parties, and silent majority out there
in the heartland, along with Sarah Palin.
But that’s just me ..... objects may appear
smaller in your mirror ........... ;)

I’ll admit I am pretty pig-ignorant on how to be a political force in my community and in the nation.
Let's call it "NROCA" (National Republic Organization for Conservative Activists).

If so....how did we wind up in the mess we're in now??
The late JFK, with some professional assistance, wrote a best selling tome called “Profiles in Courage”. The book was about great Americans that went against the “Party Line” being thrust upon them because in their hearts and minds they believed the “political” course was not in the best interests of our country. Senator Barry Goldwater also put his thoughts on paper, and came out with “The Conscience of a Conservative”, also a best seller, outlining his thoughts and beliefs which went against the accepted political climate of the times. The Goldwater book was instrumental down the road a piece, in getting Ronald Reagan elected POTUS.
Problem is: Today, we have no Profiles in Courage, just political hacks that are only interested in maintaining their power and control over the American public. In the entire Democrat Party there is not one single Senator with the slightest tinge of being or acting as a “Profile in Courage”
You get the drift, folks, Glenn Beck gets the drift, Sarah Palin gets the drift, Rush Limbaugh gets the drift, etc. So.....these fine folks/citizens and “us” are going to have to take our beloved country back. I would suggest that you read Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address. It is just a few sentances, but it one of the greatest speeches about our nation, our sacrifice, our freedom for all our citizens. Lincoln, God bless him, knew the skinny. God gifted America with Lincoln, as Washington was a also gift from heaven. The mighty one has scorned us with the presence of Barack Obama, not in the person of the man, but of what an ill informed and undirected human being can to our great country, our freedom, our children, our opportunity, our future.
Mr. Beck is correct!!! Looking for a leader to take you to freedom. Check the image looking back at you, the next time you stand in front of a mirror. Yes, a Beck, a Palin, a Limbaugh, etc. can set the agenda, but you Jane & Joe citizen must lead. Think not of yourselves, think of your children and grandchildren. Do you want live the promise and reality of Barack Obama and his minions, a mediocre nation, with little excellence at best and choking, total governmental control? Folks, wake up and get with the program. Just as our founders and freedom fighters threw off the yoke of repression during our revolution, so must we now do our part to keep our nation of the people, by the people and for the people!!!
I like the way you think. And repeat your action every election.
What can you say, Glen Beck is like Sarah Palin, you just can't get enough of either one and between the two of them they just might save the country.
Neither one of them will give up and that's who we need running this couture. People of honor, courage,determination.
Glenn, my wife and I will follow you where ever you go.
