So, I guess Mr. Jackson thinks it's health-care holding down the black man this time...Just yesterday he said "can't vote against health care and call yourself a black man,"
and then he goes on to proclaim "Among the black and the poor, the infant mortality rate is higher, life expectancy is shorter, poverty is growing and unemployment is highest," he said.
Well hell yeah, if you are pregnant and do crack, your babies die; if you live in the hood - you get shot; if you don't finish high school and get a college education you can expect poverty in this day and age; and if you you're not willing to work 8 hours a day doing whatever you're qualified to do - you will be unemployed. duh!!
What this has to do with health-care I don't know. To me, it's about personal responsibility or the lack thereof. Since America seems willing to give up our rights, maybe Obama and the Congress can write a 2,000 page Bill on curing this next.

Forty plus years its been ‘’no jobs’’, no this’’ no that’’. Forty plus years of throwing money at ‘’poverty and racism’’ and still it exsists. This bigoted old fool should shut up and go away.
Well, they can’t all be shake-down artists like you and Rev. Al, Jesse. With businesses shutting down all over the USA, it must be getting harder to find corporations to threaten so they will pay you to go away.
Statue of Liberty could hold a huge arse neon-blinking sign anouncing that the US is on the verge of national bankruptcy and these loons would put blinders on just to pass a 2.5+ trillion dollar piece of garbage disguised as ObamaCare. *shakeshead*
Hey, Jesse, could the problem be a self destructive lifestyle? Could it be that some people just won’t make the changes in their behavior that it takes to get ahead?
Still sounding off his rase baiting mouth.
Ol’ Jess used to get a kick out of spitting in white folk’s food in younger days when he worked in restaurants.

This isn’t the first time he’s said something and had to back down after saying something ...
It took him about 20 years to become a millionaire and at one time had over a 100 employees.
He said people here don't appreciate what we have. He grew up thinking , "If I can get to America, I can be anything I want to be." Of course, he had a plan...and it worked.
I always think about this when I hear JJ griping and telling Blacks why they are so bad off. If they ever discovered they have it better than than most of the world, JJ would have to get a real job!
Well said.
Lonestar, next time you see your cousin’s husband, shake his hand and offer him my personal thanks. This is the kind of person I spent 20 years in the military fighting for. He asked (not snuck in) to come to our county to make a better life for himself - and in return we are a better country.
I am so tired of hearing about the plight of so many who do little to nothing to improve themselves. Your cousin is a testament that anyone can succeed in America.
Wouldn’t it be great if our first black president took the high road and instead of taking from those who have worked hard to succeed and giving it to others who have made life choices that were less than responsible - if he were to stand-up and tell the minorities and the poor to follow in his foot-steps. He should be an inspiration to others. He can tell them how he broke the chains of poverty. How he grew up without a dad. How his cupboards were bare. How he had to live as an inter-racial child when it was very taboo. And follow it all the way through to Harvard and eventually the White House. Now that would be leadership.
Someone needs to inspire the down-trodden. Someone needs to get the to quit blaming others and to understand it is up to them to make the real “change”
Jesse who? Isn’t he a coat holder for Al Sharpton?
Among the black and the poor, the infant mortality rate is higher, life expectancy is shorter, poverty is growing and unemployment is highest,” he said.
What frickin year is this anyway ? 1950 ? Does anything not change within the Black Community for the better ?
