After arresting a young black man last night in Sara Sims Park, two white Boynton Beach Police officers faced down an angry crowd threatening violence. Cooney, who authored the incident report, noted here that there were some 100 people in the park and the surrounding area. He wrote:

Hate crime laws were created to put Whites in jail for saying or being accused of saying racist words and to set non-Whites free for hate speech, agression or violence towards Whites.
Mine is from the Latin meaning “man with big mouth.” I guess maybe his is too!

The same thing happened near here in Lake Wales (Fl.) about two weeks ago. 4 black yutes were stopped and the local blacks (always seem to be hanging about in great numbers) descended upon the cops calling them racist *&()__(*& and Mo’Fo Crackers and the whole nine yards. Law enforcement had to be called in from all over to quiet things down.
At least so far they remain in their own neighborhoods and don’t have the cajones to venture out and spread their calamity.
It seems as though a certain socio-economic-ethnic group is itching to rumble.
BTW the 1965 Watts riots started not from police abuse—Marquette Frye was driving drunk in Watts. Got stopped by the cops. His mother happened to be walking by—she went over and sterted hitting her son for his stupidity—cops puleed her off—the word spread among the 70 I.Q parnoid homies that the cops were beating a black woman.
Then the riots-any excuse will do.
Even Rodney King—I lived out there—he was acting the fool and potentially whacked out and violent—a white woman h’way patrolwoman (thanks again affirmative action!) couldn’t handle him and needed backup. So the LAPD went in.
I ask folks who talk about King “Was anyone else in the car with him that night?” Everyone says no or I don’t know—He actually had two of his homies with him for choir practice or something—both blacker than six inches up a cat’s bunghole—guess what-no cops touched them-when told to sit down stay quiet and not move—THEY COMPLIED and weren’t touched.
They sound like a real angry group of people. A good bunch to keep away from - always.
I went to college in Winter Park, Fl. My experience there was, and has been recently, that all the older black folk wave and smile at me as I walk through their neighborhood. The younger black folk stare hard at me. Makes me walk a lot faster.
I think a lot of the bitterness the younger folk feel is that being on the dole for all these years has NOT made their loves better - but worse. Yet they still vote Democratic. A real conundrum, that.
