A new Biblical Obama slogan making the rounds on conservative T-shirts and bumper stickers is being interpreted as calling for the president's death.
The slogan Pray for Obama: Psalm 109:8 seems innocent enough, but the actual verse reads: Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
The psalm goes on to say: "May his children be orphans, and his wife a widow." Read the entire psalm here.

May God bless and keep Obama and his czars- far away from us.
One of my favorite, “Fiddler on the Roof”...great line then and now.
Well, God said it, not us. So let it be written, so let it be done.
May God smite him right out of office into a jail cell.
Obama being assassinated would be awful...Imagine how much more socialism would become law with the rally cry “Do it for Obama!”
It doesn’t say Psalms 109, Verse 9.
“The Christian Science Monitor asked a few people if the slogan could be considered hate speech.”
Sure why not. Today hate speech is defined as everything from passing gas in the theater line to naughty fortune cookies. Why not the bible now, which most of them consider meaningless jibber.
You got that right.
These people are implying things, that anyone who knows HOW to look up Bible verses, knows are NOT true.
But those who don’t, well, talk about stirring the pot.
I’m not religious, but isn’t there a Bible verse about “Curse the dirty moslem diaper-head traitor back to his communist homeland?”
I think the Bible verse about “worshipping a golden calf” was written about Omoslem.
Heck, THOU SHALT NOT STEAL seems like a relevant text these days....
Everyone better hope NOTHING happens to Omoslem.
If it did, he’d be martyred, and that would advance the cause of Jihad.
I hope they are insulted, I think it's a great idea to keep on insulting them to the point they snap. F - em all
Can we use verses from the Koran?
Certainly. It is in the "Book of laminations"
Quite true, typically disingenuous to suggest otherwise.
I like that so much, Im going to use it
Oh Divine Providence, We beseech thee
protect our beleaguered nation and it’s
suffering people from further democrat “Victories”. Amen.
