Rudy may be fine in a good position with say, Homeland Security.. use him for his strengths but don’t elevate him to any position where his weaknesses become an issue.

He WOULD be an improvement in the Senate, but only if we cannot do better.

Guiliani might make a good Senator for NY. NY is mostly liberal, so is Rudy...

But not President. Not ever President.

In New York, that’s as good as we’ll ever get in the Senate. I’ll take it.

If he’s only going to stay for 2 years and run for prez, it seems kind of pointless to run for the Senate b/c he would have to start running immediately,

Let him stay in the Senate. His last presidental run didn’t go too well.

We can’t just elect a republican that is good on defense and moderate to liberal on everything else. I like Rudy on a couple issues and he seems like a guy you’d might want to have as a buddy sometimes, but that isn’t enough to be President for me.

Despite his weaknesses, Giuliani would have been a better GOP candidate than McCain. And he might have beaten Obama.

He would certainly have made a better POTUS than Obama has.

And Chuck “You” Schumer.

Regardless, I hope he wins the Senate seat and stays there.

Could be enough for Obama to back down from putting KSM on trial on USA soil.

Obama would prefer the filibuster proof majority over pleasing his marxist lawyer buddies in the NYCLU. Ron Kuby and GWU Law School only has so much pull.

Guiliani wins by 6, easily.

I am surprised he wants the Senate as opposed to the governorship. Word is that he doesn’t play well with others and is better suited to an executive position.

Correct on Cuomo breathing a sigh of relief — this is great news for GOP Senate pickups. And it will hurt Schumer, who also has to face the NY voters next year, as well.

You do realize that Guiliani was diagnosed with prostate cancer during the campaign and that's the reason he dropped out against the HildaBeast in 2000, right?
