Top Obama donor and fundraiser Jodie Evans met with the Taliban in Afghanistan on a recent trip there, according to a report by Jane Fonda of a discussion she had with Evans last month. The meeting with the Taliban took place just weeks before Evans was videotaped directly handing to President Barack Obama a package of information about her trip to Afghanistan at a high dollar fundraiser in San Francisco. The meeting with the Taliban was kept secret by Evans and her group Code Pink in reports she and the group posted from Kabul and in interviews with the media and bloggers about the trip.
So finding out that Obama's top female check bundler is meeting with the Taliban really isn't news ~ all we need here is what the relationships of the known characters are.
For all our warts, you can bet the WH has someone monitoruing FR 24/7. This is not unknown to them, but I'm sure they don't want it to go viral either.

It would be utterly naive to think that the Obama administration doesn’t have direct contacts with the Taliban, and that sensitive information has not flowed over those links.
What we need now is for someone to call for an investigation into why Obama is dithering on sending the additional troops to afghanistan and what if anything the Leftwing Liberal nuts at code pink have to do with this treason.
We are either at war or we aren’t. Our military cannot continue to fight on battlefields that our own CINC will not determine are war grounds.
If this is only an action against a criminal enterprise then INTERPOL needs to take over.

Codepink cofounders, Jodie Evans and Medea Benjamin, along with former Army Colonel and decorated Foreign Service Diplomat Ann Wright, are visiting Iran on visas coordinated by the Fellowship Of Reconciliation, which similarly organized the September 24th meeting in New York City between civilian leaders of the American peace movement and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
