Follow your dream*...Just do it....Write it. A hour each day, posted every few days would start you out!

FOX should consider having an hour week-end program giving the conservative blacks a voice...No other network would consider it. Think of the guests, the topics available to them?
Send them a e-mail!

* My son has wanted to be a working/being paid musician all his life. He just signed as a drummer with Rev Peyton’s BIGDAMNBAND.com and goes on tour the first of the year...Europe twice, all of the US and Canada...a dream come true.
He wrote a song last year call “Just A Voice” (Hear it at AaronPersinger.com) As I was listening to it last night after viewing the program, I realized that is exactly what the movement needs....Just a Voice! A place to speak and be heard.....Come on FOX fulfill that Dream! Give the King voice a place to be heard!

"If only the 1st black president had been a conservative. It would of brought America together. Instead they bring in a marxist to rip it apart."

Exactly. See my post of 02/24/2008 -- Boy was I ever wrong!:

"America’s first president of color will NOT be a “REgressive” (who calls himself a “PROgressive”) from the Marxist Left political spectrum.

America’s first president of color will be a true progressive visionary. He or she will be a classic liberal (nka a “conservative”) after the order of America’s Framers, F.A. Hayek, Ronald Reagan, et.al.

As I said previously here on FR, the election of Barak Obama (or any other Marxist, Leftist black), would only serve to FURTHER EMPOWER shake-down artist, race-baiters like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the ACLU, et.al., ad nauseam.

It would be IMPOSSIBLE for anyone who doesn’t “embrace the same leftist ideology” or isn’t a “person of color” to criticize the policies of an Obama administration without either being labeled an “Uncle Tom” or a “racist”.

That is THE number one reason why Obama will NEVER get the votes of sober-minded, intellectually honest people who love America, and care about what’s in the best interest of ALL of her people.

I think we still out-number the racists, the criminals, and the rest of the greedy, self-serving dregs of society who put personal ambition ahead of their country.

We still have the numbers to defeat the ones who stay up at night inventing ways to cause America’s defeat at the hands of our enemies.

Because of that, I don’t believe that either Mrs. “Stalin” Clinton, or Barak “empty suit” Obama could be elected to the presidency of the United States of America. ..."

Heh... yeah, I guess I’m a bit envious of those folks. I would love to be on a panel like that with like-minded black conservatives.

Thing is, all of those folks have worked hard at getting themselves heard. They’ve made the requisite investment in time and dedication to develop a following, and I have not.

We black conservatives are still pretty rare in the general population, so we’re rebels, that’s for damn sure. I know that I’m in the vanguard of a small, but growing movement.

Funny thing is, I probably spend at least that much time posting at FR every day.

Heck, I could probably just copy and paste my FR posts into a blog page every day and call it "random thoughts" or something.

Of course you're right that I need to just get started. So many people have been after me to do that.

Thanks for the encouragement. I really appreciate it.

This was a stroke absolute an of genius... and it is nothing but good journalism. Show BOTH sides. For that it shouldn’t be seen as genius BUT... that just illustrates how narrow the other networks are. Would never enter their thinking.

Why didn’t some other network in the last 10-years do this? Just out of curiosity and to show some fairness.

Brilliant. That’s FOXNEWS... simply applying the most basic fundamentals off good journalism.

“Plantation Politics” so well describes the DC masters.

It’s sad to me that the overwhelming generalization of the black population consists of rappers, street thugs, over-the-top rhetoric, less than average intelligence, and a welfare mentality.

Beck’s show yesterday showed the face of Americans. It was such a refreshing glimpse into what the plantation masters have been trying to hide. It’s also another of Beck’s “you are not alone” statements. I want more!

Please keep me posted on your writings....

Years ago there was an article written by a female general, who lived in Texas. IIRC her last name was Rice. She gave an accurate factual history of the Republican Party and its relationship to Americans of African origin.....Wish I had it today to share with you. I think you would enjoy reading it.

At the time it was being passed around, I thought, “wish this could be distributed at the Black Expo in Indianapolis” But didn't think it would have much credence coming from a gray haired Hoosiermama with blue eyes and fair skin, even if her ancestors were abolitionist and connected to the UR.

And you say that she's from Texas. I read some history of the Republican party of Texas some time back at a website for black Republicans, and per their claims, the Republican party of Texas was established by blacks. You could have knocked me over with a feather.

First of all, I've never run into a black Republican organization before, but there's one here in North Texas that's alive and well. I mean to hook up with those folks when I can.

I'll make sure to spread the word here when I do launch my blog. Thanks again.

I wish some typists here on FR would consider your perspective when bashing Michael Steele for his candor in describing PC discomfort between Americans of different ancestry.

Michael Steele has shown courage for putting himself in the political arena as a Republican and audacity for telling the truth. A rare combination.

Thanks for your contribution - and keep it up!!!!

I believe that DJ could add a name or two (or 100) to your list of black conservatives.

I’m certainly not as knowledgeable about the subject as DJ, but I can add a few recent black conservative congressional candidates or other officeholders:

Michael Williams, Allen West. Les Phillip, Eric Wallace, Jackie Winters, Clinton LeSueur, Ryan Frazier, Maurice Washington, Marvin Scott, Dylan Glenn, Ada Fisher, Vernon Robinson, Kirt Bennett, Jennifer Carroll and Eric Dickerson (not the runningback).

Yes, Michael had to have extreme courage at some point in his life to move to the Republican side, and then to publicly work his way up the ladder in the political arena. I can respect him for that.

But (you knew it was coming) he has demonstrated that he doesn't have solid conservative core values, and seems to have little understanding of them. If he did, he'd have never made some of the more asinine statements he has since becoming head of the RNC.

Any person who is grounded in traditional, originalist American thinking can be counted on to always give the right answer to any question, and correctly handle any challenge to their positions. It's actually quite simple to do when one fully grasps the simple concepts of conservatism.

But, when a person waffles from one stance to another, or vacillates between extremes on a given issue, they've demonstrated that they don't have a clear moral center. That person is lost among the "nuances" of arguments and policy. They don't see the forest for the trees.

Such a person won't come straight out and condemn the contra-survival actions of a President who elects to try a terrorist mastermind in a civilian court, and with the full protection of American law.

I'm not suggesting that Michael Steele hasn't condemned Obama and Holder for doing this, but this is an example of the kind of muddled thinking that goes on in the RINO mind.

Michael Steele needs to quickly get a grip on conservative principles and make them his own, or he'll soon be a footnote in Republican party history.

From the looks of it, it looks like we need to ‘free the slaves’ again! The trouble is, would they even WANT to be free this time around? Maybe folks like those in Glen Beck's audience will help to ‘free’ them again; and free them from a different ‘plantation’, a government one this time! They may need to ‘unchain’ them from the ‘slavery’ in their minds, as well as any physical one of the past/present! A couple of those people told about the attitude of Obama “giving them money, supposedly from ‘stash’ somewhere”. Now that was appalling! You'd think they would want to take care of themselves with maybe a little help; not to lean on Obama like he was their 'daddy'! This attitude, sadly, has been around for a very long time. Even back after the Civil War, people like Booker T. Washington lamented that there was a group of people griping about their lot in life! He said their was a group of Negroes who didn't want "the patient to get well"! There were others, it seems to me, who licked their wounds, dried their tears, and went out and used their skills learned as slaves to build businesses, farms and whole communities!

Ouch, that didn’t turn out too well! I was trying to fix it by separating paragraphs! For some reason, after using ‘spell check’, I couldn’t figure out why even after separating it into smaller paragraphs, it wouldn’t work! Maybe I should’ve put the html code in it instead. I’d forgotten how to use it though, I’m so used not having to fool with html codes!

This week on face book I was called a racist because of the high percentage of abortions being done in the black community. I had seen a story of Alveda King on her own abortion and how she discovered that the black community had the highest percentage of abortions. Planned Parenthood sets up in poor black neighborhoods and too many black leaders support abortion including the President. When I heard her story it broke my heart because that was exactly what Margaret Sanger wanted, the real racist. Then same person said I was stupid because I was prolife. It seems if you are prolife when the babies are born they are all considered crack babies that have to be on welfare attitude. To be honest I was offended then I remembered the scripture in Thess. about people who do not want to know the truth. the gentleman said since I was singling out the abortions of black babies then I had to be a racist. But it was just the opposite I hate what Margaret Sanger stood for and when I see so many black leaders that are prochoice I get sick to my stomach. I really like Alveda King and how she came to the truth and now she is out there trying to change hearts to see the truth.

In our area the Klan targeted two groups: blacks AND Republicans. The counties that are heavily Democrat population were also infested with Klan members (Active until the 50-60s. Still active in counties north of here).

The historic homes that were connected to the Underground Railroad are in the counties that historically vote with the GOP.

Keep us posted.
