I believe that DJ could add a name or two (or 100) to your list of black conservatives.

I’m certainly not as knowledgeable about the subject as DJ, but I can add a few recent black conservative congressional candidates or other officeholders:

Michael Williams, Allen West. Les Phillip, Eric Wallace, Jackie Winters, Clinton LeSueur, Ryan Frazier, Maurice Washington, Marvin Scott, Dylan Glenn, Ada Fisher, Vernon Robinson, Kirt Bennett, Jennifer Carroll and Eric Dickerson (not the runningback).

I used to keep that list on my page until it became too lengthy. I could identify a number of Black Republicans, but they weren’t necessarily Conservative (prime example: Colin Powell). I saw Beck’s show yesterday (funny how it happened to be on, since I don’t watch it with regularity). There was one Black GOP Mayor in the crowd (of Monticello, NY), but he was plainly no Conservative, but sounded like too many of the typically weaselly liberal RINOs we know all too well (bitching about Dubya, praising and supporting Zero). If I had been Beck after the Mayor mentioned he’d voted for Zero, my first question would’ve been, “Why weren’t you stripped of your party credentials ?”
