There won't be any kind of fair trial but will almost certainly be a rallying cry for every jihadist around the globe as it was with the first World Trade Center Attackers.
Obama has done more damage to this country than any terrorist could have dreamed of.

Is this in response to what happened at Ft Hood? Is it just talk?

"This is being deliberately done now to get Hasan off the front page."

I have to wonder the same thing about the Iranian mosque investigation. It is common in the middle east to operate money transfers informally through the mosques. The fact that some people transferred money back to Iran through the mosques is not, of itself, evidence of anything wrong.

And the idea that the Iranian A-bomb effort is being funded in any direct way by contributions from mosque attendees rather than through its far more secure and secret miltary budget is ridiculous. Odd that this strange (and going nowhere) story breaks today. It's an attempt to look tough while wimping out on other things.

And note....there were NO indictments announced today, so why make the announcement.

I could be wrong on this date, but if I recall correctly it was within a week of sentences of those who committed the first attack on the WTC, when the second attack happen.

I am so blinded by rage right now, I am shaking with anger. This must NOT be allowed to proceed this way. They have already announced that Hasan will be tried by the Military at a Military tribunal. If that is just okay, I can think of no, repeat, NO excuse for this, especially when at the last scheduled hearing before the Military Court, these guys were going to plead guilty and obama STOPPED that hearing dead in its tracks. He stopped the hearing after it had ALREADY begun. HE did. Personally with a special order. HE DID IT.
This is high treason. There simply is no other word for it. NONE!
Anytime during the clinton administration, when the sh!t was about to hit the fan, clinton conveniently had left the country. obama is doing the same thing. Avoiding issues. Hiding from Americans. He disgusts me.
He MUST be impeached. We are in grave danger.

George Bush had 15 days to decide where to detain the terrorists and picked Gitmo.

President Diddle-de-Doo has had 8 years of hindsight, and STILL cannot NAME a better location than Gitmo.

Holder:“I want to do something that’s rare in Washington - leave the politics out of it.”

Holder is a lying POS working for a lying POS!

We know that Hasan’s calls were interecepted. We know that investigation was shut down. Therefore, the blogger aserts, we know that Holder is the man who pulled the plug on it.

Good Point!!!!!

Holder claims this is like 1993, but that was about persons IN THE UNITED STATES!

KSM WAS NOT in the US, he was in Afghanistan and Pakistan (and who knows where else). That changes everything.

Virtually all the "witnesses" they could call live in countries where they live under threat of intimidation and thus their testimony can be reasonably challenged as tainted.

Communications evidence all came in under warrentless wiretaps which will now be challenged.

Any testimony by KSM gathered since his capture can be challenged because of reasonable fear that he could again be waterboarded.

What a disaster. Holder is either a total idiot or very, very nasty.

I didn’t see the news conference but I assume Holder is prosecuting in Federal Court. The US Government still has the death penalty.

I don’t think he’d pull anything without getting his bosses okay.

Would you be able to describe more of what you mean that Holder has created an environment of fear in D.C.?

Holder is either a total idiot or very, very nasty.

He isn't dumb. What he is is an America-hater, just like his boss. And a metrosexual, just like his boss.

Good point on John McCain. I have not forgotten that he came out against George Bush and talked about how we tortured at Gitmo and how we should close down Gitmo. I’m not fooled. McCain is so open-minded his brain falls out. Just the other day he came out and (rightly) made the public statement (after Lieberman had already done so, I’ll add) that Ft Hood was a “terrorist” act. Well, duh. So, why Sen. McCain, did you make the stupid statements about Gitmo? McCain and his constant, self-serving flip-flopping drives me nuts. I guess that is a RINO characteristic ?

The Bush administration should have taken care of these guys before he left office, and not given the Obama administration a chance to do this.

From Fox News

Mohammed and the four others -- Waleed bin Attash, Ramzi Binalshibh, Mustafa Ahmad al-Hawsawi and Ali Abd al-Aziz Ali -- are accused of orchestrating the attacks that killed 2,973 people on Sept. 11, 2001, and will now be tried in a courtroom down the street from the World Trade Center

Holder

According to FoxNews.com that court is a civilian court, not a federal cort
