FORT HOOD -- This is the latest information on the injured. There are 16 people still hospitalized, including the alleged shooter. Seven victims are still in intensive care unit and 9 others people are still being treated.

This was all I could find and is as of yesterday. I hope others will add more info. Seven still in ICU means they are severely injured. Let us remember them. I am sick to death of all-perp, all the time. The important ones are our troops. Thank you.

She was shot in one of the main leg arteries, I think, from reading the eyewitness account. Oh yes, definitely prayers for SGT Munley.

(Staff Sergeant Manning was among the eight listed in ICU yesterday.)

Prayers for his continued recovery, for those still struggling in ICU, and for the families and friends of the murdered.

Bless you La Enchaliadita for bringing this thread to us. IMHO most of us have been waiting to get an update on those injured and NOT about the shooter’s condition (which is the way typical media thinks - with concern for the perp and not the victims).

I saluted as I drove past the hospital last evening. I'll likely do it again tonight.

Meanwhile there are armed troops guarding the gates of all the housing areas, which are normally open access. Most had a HUMVEE with a weapons mount in attendance as well. One of those gates is only a block north of Metroplex hospital where Police Sgt. Manley is recovering.

(That's visible from the public streets and highways, or I'd not be reporting it.)
