I imagine Henry the VIIIth also protested that his wanting a divorce for no valid reason didn’t make him less of a Catholic- didn’t fly then, either.

Problem is the Church has caved to the Kennedys for multiple generations of abortion support, divorce, adultery murder, greed and debauchery. The current generation thinks they are entitled to do what they want because their “values” supercede Church teaching.

Excellent letter! The bishop was very cordial but at the same time very firm in explaining the situation to Kennedy. Kudos to him!

that you support the Church, personally, publicly, spiritually and financially

If I recall my Baltimore Catechism, nothing was said about "financially." Maybe that was Vatican II ?

I hope the Bishop included pictures with his letter. Patches doesn’t have a very long attention span.

Good for Bishop Tobin. Kennedy agreed to meet with him and then canceled the meeting. Kennedy's support for death has been very public and deserves to be denounced publicly.

Dear Congressman Kennedy, my mom says you whole family should be excommunicated.

I say you should be expelled from Congress for being a douche and your whole family including Schwarzenegger should be deported to Venezuela.

Sincerely, Impy.

Dear Patrick,

How often are you getting high these days? How many votes have you cast while stoned out of your mind?

Unfortunately, one letter from one bishop will be scantly noticed and will have no effect.

Lay persons are bound by an obligation and possess the right to acquire a knowledge of Christian doctrine adapted to their capacity and condition....

His Grace, The Good Bishop, has given the Young Kennedy the perfect "out." This swinish young dolt is so debauched by drink and drugs that he lost whatever mental capacity he may have once had, which according to those who taught him, just wasn't all that much.

That he is continually elected has certainly convinced me that the solidly Democrat Catholics of New England are not quite as comfortable as citizens of a free republic as they might have been as serfs.

Mention the name "Kennedy" in New England, and the yobbos do everything but tug on their forelocks and bring forward their sisters and daughters for a Laird of Kennedy's pleasure.
