In his nationally televised remarks following the horrendous killings at Ft. Hood, President Obama never mentioned the T word. The attack was an act of violence. No mention of terrorism.
In fact, the Ft. Hood shooting is the first terror attack on American soil since 9-11. But Obama, reluctant to take the rap for inadequate protections against such attacks, is doing everything he can to make it look like an adult version of the Columbine school shootings. We are treated to stories about the killers dread of being sent back to Afghanistan and his deformed personality.
But, the fact is that Major Nidal Malik Hasan jumped on a table, yelled Alah Hu Akhbar and began the shooting rampage that killed 13 people and wounded 30 more.
Ilana Freedman, CEO and Senior Analyst for the Gerard Group International, which provides intelligence analysis for business and homeland security, describes Hasan as a lone wolf terrorist who acts without apparent coordination with any other person or organization. But that does not make him any less of a terrorist.
The dividing line, of course, between a terrorist and a psychopathic killer is political motivation. His statements right before opening fire would indicate that Hasan was motivated by fanaticism and a commitment to Islamic fascism, even though President Obama bends over backwards to avoid saying so.

Normal people are calling it terrorism. It’s only liberals who are blaming it on White Christians and Jews.
I forgot the DC snipers too!
Joe Biden only missed his forecast by a couple of months.
The thing that does not make sense to me is that he opened his mouth a LOT. Why? If he were a true terror sleeper, he would have STFU...this was a lone guy who was a committed Muslim who acted on his own after hearing the Islamopropaganda for years.
Did Ann Coulter weigh in?
And i haven’t heard him in the last few days, but i’d bet Rev. Manning called it terrorism.
bttt
To tell us to believe that someone has to have a membership card in al-Qaida or any other organization in order for them to act as a terrorist, and in order for us to call what he does an act of terrorism, is to tell us to refuse to look facts in the face, and to refuse to believe what we see and hear with our own eyes and ears,

Initial investigation shows colleages of Cpl Nakayama, a nissei whose parents and siblings currently are housed in the Manzanar Detention Facility in California, were worried about him for his numerous efforts to tell comrades that Japan was justified for bombing Pearl Harbour, that he thought the "banzai" suicide attacks against US troops by Japanese Imperial soldiers were honorable as they were only defending their homeland. He gloated over stories coming into the base from relatives of those on the Bataan Death March, saying Japanese military were in their rights to force the march and obedience of the captured Allies. Nakayama had been spotted several days earlier in a small neighborhood grocery wearing traditional Japanese sarashi, tabi, happi and a sarashi Japanse "hissho victory cloth" wrapped around his head. Other eyewitnesses said Nakayama stated on multiple times to Marine colleagues that the US should just stay out of the Pacific Region, end the war and give Asia to the Asians, and that he had extreme loathing at the prospect of being sent to the Pacific theater as a battlefield interpreter. He is now reported to have had correspondence with Domei News agency of Tokyo, and also before the war had been a frequent worshipper at a Shinto Shrine in Los Angeles, even joining an extreme Imperialist Japan support group, the Black Dragon Society in support of Tojo's expansive measures in the Pacific.
All the while, superiors kept the complaints confidential and did not confront Nakayama over his viewpoints, apparantly in fear of their own military positions and advancement prospects. Secretary of War Stimson is promising a full investigation. Major news outlets in the US, led by the New York Times and NBC News (Blue Network) have disavowed any potential connection of the assailant to Imperial Japan or seditious activity or philosophy, simply stating that the Cpl. was probably troubled about various aspects of his work and the prospect of being sent to the Pacific theater as a field Japanese translator for US troops.
Hah. Did you create this, or where did you find it?
Thanks. Also: http://www.usatoday.com/news/military/2009-06-01-army-recruiter-killed_N.htm
“A Muslim convert who said he was against the U.S. military pleaded not guilty Tuesday to capital murder in connection with the shooting of two soldiers outside an Arkansas recruiting center.
One soldier died in the attack Monday, police said.
Abdul Hakim Mujahid Muhammad, 23, was ordered held without bail at a hearing Tuesday in Little Rock. He is charged in the death of Pvt. William Long, 23, of Conway, outside the Army Navy Career Center in Little Rock.”
also, correction to the hasty work above:
sarashi = hachimaki (鉢巻き)
Ahhhh-soooooooo, AIT-san:)
I put a new font in my system so your incomprehensible characters look very nice now! ;0)
Sorry...I did not make myself clear (my fault, not yours). He IS a terrorist, but a “lone wolf” and not a member of a terrorist cell.
They are all unified by resolve. Hassan is part of a fifth column. Anybody that says he is a "nut" or a guy that "snapped" either a fool or part of that fifth column.
Good way to put it: “unified by resolve.” I never said he “snapped,” he had planned this.
Pharmboy, don’t worry. I know what you are saying. In fact, with new evidence pouring in of Hasan’s communications with al Qaeda, we can say that although he (perhaps?) decided alone, he had “inspiration” from the top terrorists.
You got it...thnx
