Sorry for the vanity post, but...I'm mad as he@# and I don't want to take it any more.
Our congressmen didn't get it in August, when we staged our tea parties. They didn't get it again this week, when we protested on the Capitol steps. The bottom line is that America does not want the so-called "affordable" health care plan passed by congress. But still, congress insists on ramming it down our throats.
Just as we awoke on September 11th to learn that our way of life was at risk c/o foreign terrorists, we awoke on November 8th to learn that those same liberties were now at risk c/o the liberal elite (+1) in Washington.
I'm at a loss to think of what we can possibly do to stop this socialist agenda. November 2010 will be too late. We need to act now. Does anyone know how the recall rules are written in their states? Can we get these people out of office NOW, before the health care legislation passes the senate and goes to conference?!?!
November 8ther's unite. Let's send these 220 back where they belong...sooner, rather than later.
Maybe it’s just me, but it’s like we’re watching Jonestown II played out in our own back yards.
I understand your anger, but you need to redirect it to the banks. They're the ultimate criminals.
By the way, there are only about 15 states that have rules allowing the recall of a sitting member of Congress.
Those 15 states have made it virtually impossible to make a recall happen.
You'd be much better off waiting until November, 2010 and working on campaigns for candidates that you support.
We need to vote out all of the dimocrats, not just the 220.
A friend of mine in South Carolina, a nurse, just told me that the Pelosi MengeleCare bill cuts Medicare considerably including testing (MRI, CAT scans, etc.), in-home care, durable good, etc. in favor of hospice care. To sum it up, Pelosi et al. fully intend to kill off as many elderly as possible. Welcome to the US Congress re-do of Nazi Germany with their legal camps.
Gather enough evidence of their corruption and expose their dirt and then you can get them out.
If you are inquiring about your state’s procedures for recall, then you need to contact your district rep ASAP. If for the fed however, we are stuck although there’s impeachable offenses taking place, the senate starts that process and well....you know who is currently in majority there. The only other remedy is the one that our forefathers took.
Where the eff are the commercials of grandma’s wheelchair being thrust down the stairs...by Witchipoo Pelosi?!?
I’m making it my personal duty to apply my talent/expertise/conviction towards ousting Pelosi in 2010. Sleeves are rolled up.
Elections have consequences...
I agree with you. I also believe we are daily living the jihad with Obama in the white house. He is destroying this nation and turning it over to satan.
Fredgoblu, you should understand that many millions of Americans DO want “free” health care. For someone who doesn’t have health insurance, doesn’t want to sacrifice other things to buy it, and doesn’t mind stealing from others, this is a good deal. At least 30% (maybe 40%) of America is rejoicing over this right now.
No one has the legal or moral right to force someone else to pay for this. It’s as simple as that. This isn’t taking property or taxing income for public use. This is some folks taking other people’s property for private use.
GOP is still looking for their gonads. No TV ads telling the elderly they better get their wills up to date before the Gestapo come to haul them off.
Sorry, wrong. Not the banks. It was the politicians/regualators that set up the Rube Goldberg mechanism that ground to a halt.
Wrong.
The Bank of England and the Federal Reserve run the economies of the industrialized world.
The Federal government is just their puppet in all things economic.
Congress does nothing unless the banks allow it.
What we have seen lately is the international banks pulling credit availability - on purpose. They're creating a deflationary environment on purpose in order to steal the wealth that the serfs have created over the years.
Deflation can bring down governmentments - since they rely on inflation to survive and build their power structure.
This is why the healthcare bill will pass and be signed by Obama. It will allow the Federal government to create a MASSIVE amount of new debt that they can use as an effort to combat the MASSIVE credit destruction that the banks are causing.
If debt destruction beats out debt creation (like it is now) then we will continue in a major deflationary spiral - eventually leading to a full-blown depression.
If the Federal government is able to create enough new debt to overcome the debt destruction being caused by the banks then we will see inflation of some sort. I don't see this happening for at least the next nine years.
I agree with this. I would like to see Sarah Palin create a groups of Tea Party members in all 50 states. One group for each congressional district. So we would have 435 groups. You would volunteer to help get a Republican elected in 2010. Each you are lucky enough to have a Republican could work for their election. If they were very liberal, a candidate could run against the Republican in the primary. Whoever wins the primary we MUST support. ANY Republican is better than ANY Democrat. We can't stay home or vote for a third party. We got into this mess by Conservatives staying home.
If you have a Democrat as your rep, you must run a strong Republican against them. The Tea Party group could really get involved to make sure the fire that burns in our belly is put to good use. We can't leave any Democrats with a felling they can easily win. I would even go after Nancy Pelosi!
We need to vote them all out D's and R's. There maybe 5 or so that deserve to stay but most of the R's are just giving lip service. We need true change my children are not going to know what freedom is.

We need to push for a Constitutional amendment for congressional term limits and the right of recall
