In a historic vote the House Health Care Bill Passed the House of Representatives 220 - 215 with 64 Democrats voting against the measure. However, the true test of whether it can pass the senate still looms. With a test vote losing out 47-53 a few weeks ago over the Baucus Bill, much persuasion must be had in the Senate for a bill to arrive at the President’s desk...

I’m not one of those on here arming myself and going ballistic. However, I get a kick out of the fact that you “LOVE OBAMA”. Most on this site “LOVE AMERICA”. Go ahead and rub in the two vote victory you managed to eek out despite the endless deception and opaque 2,000 page bill that pretty much no one person in this country read. It just reflects nothing but your ignorance. You deserve to live on your knees. My advice to you, should this pass in the Senate, is to seek whatever government official in charge of psychological affairs can help you root out why you feel you should be nothing more than a glorified peasant.
As far as being a two year old, well, we’re really not the dependent type. Two year olds tend to be that way. It’s a shame that a small failure of a person even knows how to use a computer to voice an opinion much like those that praised the Communist Party in Soviet Russia.

Unfortunately, only 38 Democrats voted against it. If 64 had voted "no", it would have been defeated decisively. Then again, Pelosi and her buddies wouldn't have even called for the vote if she didn't think she had it in the bag. The midnight weekend timing, BTW, was not coincidental, IMHO.
I don't know if the erroneous number in the posted story is an honest mistake (in which case it is very poor journalism) or just a deliberate lie intended to make the blue dogs as a group look better and stronger than they really are.
A mistake was made in regards to the amount of Democrats who voted against the measure. The number of 64 Democrats was derived from those who voted for the amendment which bans federal funds for abortion services in the public option and in the insurance “exchange” the bill would create. However, as you stated 38 is the wrong number as well, The official number of democrats who voted against the bill was 39.
