I manage campaigns for candidates I agree with, (right to life, conservative party etc.). I am a political scientist by training and web designer when not engaged in a fight. I am quite familiar with the political game and I know what is going on. In my college years both undergraduate and graduate level I was for some time a committed Marxist of the Stalinist variant. I devoured everything from Marx to Kautsky, Lenin, Gramsci, Guevara, Mao et al. I have a good insight to what the left does and their tactics.

Conservatives have unfortunately been checkmated by the left and are clueless to that fact. Yes there may be elections in 2010 but I suspect that ACORN will see to it they are closer than we think. Even if they lose both houses in 2010 it will only be temporary. Obama still has the veto pen and any attempt to roll back the changes will be futile. They have the votes in the senate through reconciliation, 51 is all they need to pass stuff. By 2012 they will redistrict republicans out of existence due to the fact they control the census and will count people who don't exist in current democratic strongholds. That will allow them to create congressional districts that are democratic out of thin air through the reapportionment that comes due with the 2010 census.

Americans seem to have forgetten the value of “F___ You!”. We have the power to thwart this stinking piece of Marxist crap. All we need to do is exercise that power.

You need to distinguish between potential power. We all have the potential of power but it only has value when exercised.

LET IT BEGIN HERE

In less than 24 hours a rebellious colony would be changed forever.
April 18, 1775
9:30 P.M. Paul Revere learns that the British army is marching to Lexington and Concord to arrest rebel leaders and destroy American military supplies.
11:00 P.M. Revere begins his famous midnight ride to warn his fellow patriots about the British plans.

April 19, 1775
12:00 A.M. Revere reaches Lexington and warns rebel leaders Samuel Adams and John Hancock that the British are coming. They escape and rouse the town's militia.
1:00 A.M. Revere is captured by the British, but a fellow patriot continues on to warn the sleeping village of Concord.
5:00 A.M. An advance lookout for the Lexington militia spots the approaching British army and shouts a warning. 5:20 A.M. Most of the 70 Lexington militiamen, outgunned by the military might of the 250 British regulars, decide to back down. But a few men stand their ground, including Jonas Parker, a grandfather who has vowed never to flee the British.
Suddenly, a shot rings out.

Be ready to stand your ground and not back down.

Cacique:

A sobering and depressing assessment. Unfortunately, I agree with you. I think we (the people who work for a living), are now outnumbered by the people who want free stuff.

I don’t think you are paranoid at all, remember, it’s not paranoia if they really are out to get you. This administration really is.

Asking Leftists to give up on the dream of government-run everything is to ask the impossible, primarily because the same Leftists you’d be asking to do so would be giving up their source of income. If I’m working for some government agency, my best opportunity for a promotion, a raise, increased responsibility and power are if my agency expands. In the face of incentives like that, why in the heck would I care about some 200+-year old document that tries to limit my ability to get those things? Am I going to want to explain to my wife and kids that we can’t go on vacation because James Madison said that the “general welfare” isn’t actually carte blanche to make people buy health insurance, but refers back to the enumerated powers?

Clearly, most of the career bureaucrats and would-be bureaucrats at the Federal level swing to the Left because that’s the only way they can get things that people in the private sector have to actually achieve something to get.

Unless there is a splitting of the country and new rules written to eliminate these incentives among the bureaucracy of the new “red state” Federal government, the same crap is just going to keep coming up.

To a certain extent, the ancient Athenians had it right when they assigned government posts by lot each year. Your number comes up, you take over a certain function for a year and give it up at the end of the year. Makes building a bureaucratic power base almost impossible.

Time to sack DC...and move the seat of power to the heartland.

I’m not that pessimistic. I think the marxists, the one fifth of the electorate that call themselves liberals, can be delegitimized. The MSM is delegitimizing itself with their fawning coverage of all things marxist. They are losing their subscribers and viewers. We just have to work more on the moderates and independents.

Now is the time for expose all liberals as Communists and to delegitimize them in every field of endeavor — from politics to academia to entertainment. We need a 24/7 revolution exposing the evil that dwells within the ranks of Communists in America and to make sure they lose all their power everywhere they have accumulated it. This is war!

Think about how rarely a conservative yapping talk show host calls the enemy who he is ( Marxist and/or fascist) or what it is ( Marxism and/or fascism).

I have essentially stopped listening to Rush and other talk show hosts because I was yelling at the radio. Their use of the term “radical leftist” is just far too irritating.

First of all Rush and the others mislead their listeners by not fully educating them about the true nature of the enemy. Second, by using the terms “liberal”, “leftist”, or “radical leftist”, they make the enemy seem as warm and fuzzy as a Norwegian.
