I don’t see this as legitimate legislation. I see it as another “Saturday Night Massacre”, the sort of action that got Nixon impeached. Don’t believe for a moment that this bill will get stalled in the senate.

You make a very good point, and I completely agree - this is really a case of not being "the enemy of the perfect", which would have been the Pelosi health bill going down because our Rep's across the board actually voted their conscience, and represented us!
The only problem with that is, maybe they did represent? Like Cao...
I had the chance to vote on county and state issues this past election week, and was only in the majority once on five issues, although they were all close votes but one...
I guess the important thing will be, to educate people about what they're really getting when they vote for these government plans - I'm convinced they really have no idea!! < sigh >
I am with you on Cao. Lot of people on these threads don’t understand how politics is played. He comes from a district that is extremely liberal with welfare people in pretty big numbers. He voted for his district which a lot of Dems didn’t do but people are madder at him then the Dems who went against their district.
We need some of our Republican congressmen, Senators to stand up with us. They need to go on strike and walk out. Go home. Shut it down. If they do that, the people will follow suit.

We need to act EXACTLY as the left has acted. Highly organized , heavy funding , offices , buses , lawyers , inside people and spies. This needs to be done on a MASSIVE scale . We need to be aggressive and fearless . We need get in their faces methods and we need to scare the shit out of those who spit on the Constitution.

Just what the left has done . Block roads , tunnels , bridges, . Block the halls in DC , refuse to move , create chaos , make headline DAILY, have a nation day of outrage , pull national work stoppages . Scare the crap out of those who spit in our faces. That’s for starters.

Exactly! I have been reading this thread shaking my head. I was hoping someone would put up a list of moderate Dems who voted for it especially in more conservative districts. Cao seems to be getting most of the venom instead of the Dems.
