Spending the better half of one day and one night searching the internet for information on the Ft. Hood Muslim shooter, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, I have found this disturbing 2009 video from the online archives of C-Span in which the terrorist appears. There has been some reference to this video in US media but not widespread it seems.

Nidal Malik Hasan was apparantly an invited guest to a public address in Washington by the Israeli Ambassador to the US, Sallai Meridor. Shooter Hasan took a seat in the second row nearly across from the Ambassador and one of the participants Yonah Alexander of Inter-University Center for Terrorism Studies (also professor of international studies and director of the Institute for Studies in International Terrorism at the State University of New York)—the program ironically called “Combating Terrorism”. It is my impression or at least some level of concern that the Israeli Ambassador, other anti-terrorist officials and VIPs at that event may have been in some level of danger. I have analyzed the video in detail. In addition to the link above, I provide my own outtakes from said January event in Washington.

This (pic) is the December 2008 HSPI event he went too. See terrorist Hasan on the far left, front row, with the chrome dome and military uniform? The Director of the center Frank Cillufio has has hands grasped there as the moderator of the panel. This is I believe the moderator for the January event who told him to sit back down when he suddenly got up before the Ambassador had left--following two advisories to the audience to stay in their seats. So the director must certanly recall this guy. And he does. He said as much, I believe made a statement yesterday that Hasan attended some of the HSPI events and one time asked a question that "went on too long so I had to cut him off". I search archives for tapes of such a ramble, but could not find it. I REALLY want to hear that man's recorded voice and what was rattling his cage.

Just like the Czechs having to hear Zero rescind Bush's defensive missile plan, there are so many new Zero Foreign Policy messages that work so destructively against American interests, far moreso than the Left's silly claim of how, under Bush, the world supposedly didn't like us any more.

The US govt will do whatever they can to keep from paying out whatever benefits the soldiers are due. I'm sure they actively try to quash as many claims as possible. But that's another story.

How insensitive of the US govt to provide a Muslim psychiatrist for the soldiers. I mean, we’re fighting Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq - and you give the soldiers a Muslim sounding-board?!! How demoralizing. I’m sure many soldiers kept quiet, rather than open up to him.
Hasan was invited to a speech, a speech which was given by the Ambassador from Israel. I am not sure who invited Hasan, outside of the HSPI think tank organization itself, probably somebody within their staff knows, handled his RSVPs, knows about him, got him linked into their group, met him somewhere, whatever, etc.

No problem. I was just trying to mentally digest what I was reading and that tiny little word did not fit with the rest of the story.
