It demolishes the great realignment myth of 2008.

That myth should never have taken flight in the first place. It was apparent that Obama won mostly because a lot of guilt-ridden white people voted for him since voting for a black guy made them feel good.

Here was the puff of smoke 'coalition' that elected Obama: most all black Americans, a majority of Hispanics, extreme left interests groups, Yellow Dog Dims, fad following college kids, and guilt-ridden white people.

The last two of that 'coalition' either stayed home or voted Republican this week.

Quite a few of us here never bought the new coalition, realignment nonsense ballyhooed by the MSM and accepted by frightened RINOs and so-called 'moderate' Republicans.
