ORLANDO, Fla. -- Officers are on the scene of a shooting in downtown Orlando Friday. According to Orlando Fire Department dispatch, several people were shot and were transported to a local hospital.
The shooting happened at 1000 LEGION PL (see map) at the Gateway Center.

Apparently the police have taken someone from the Salvation Army downtown...not sure if it’s an injury or a suspect..

Should be fun getting home from work today. I’m a couple miles from there, as the crow flies, and I’ve heard the sirens and helicopters for a couple hours now I guess. The inital rush of sirens definitely caught my attention and I thought “Must have been a good one.” That building has multiple tenants; I once visited a lawyer there to take care of some things for me when my dad passed. I’m guessing disgruntled worker/client.
This is not the first time one mass shooting was quickly followed by another. Happened earlier this year IIRC.
