I’m watching the channel 6 feed and did not hear that.

Sounds like she got tripped up in the peppering of questions. Understandable under the circumstances. Gibbs at the White House is a stammering idiot when asked softball questions by a friendly media in the comfort of his briefing room.

my employer has a big old sign that says guns are not allowed on the property

That sucks. I just checked "The Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990" (No guns within 1000 feet of a school), but there is an exception for private property within that zone, and since I'm a partner, I can pack! It's a beautiful thing. Although it would freak out the libs in the office.

from tampabay.com

Police identified the suspect as Jason Rodriguez, 40, a former employee of Reynolds Smith & Hills. They said he might be driving a 2002 silver Nissan SUV, with a Florida tag: D119UX. Local news outlets reported he was wearing a light blue polo shirt with jeans.

Rodriguez has had a string of financial troubles recently and filed for bankruptcy May 26, according to court and bankruptcy records. He owes $11,000 for child support, $28,912 to Sallie Mae for student loans, $24,520 to a credit union. His last known address was listed as 3326 Lila Dr., Orlando.

Mike Bernof, spokesman for Reynolds Smith & Hills Inc., told CNN Rodriquez was fired from the company two years ago for performance reasons. Bernof said Rodriquez worked in transportation engineering.

The shooting occurred at a building called Legions Place, which is near Interstate 4 and Lake Ivanhoe, on the northern edge of downtown. The Sentinel reported that bodies were found on the 12th and 8th of the building, which has 16 floors.

Interstate 4 eastbound was shut down.

A WESH-TV reporter said a “former employee came into the office who hadn’t worked at the company in over a year.”

The Sentinel reported that office workers barricaded themselves in the office.

WFTV-TV reported that it arrived on the scene and spoke to one man who said he saw someone screaming at him to get out of the building immediately. Other people were led out of the building, distraught and crying, the station reported.

About 50 paramedics responded.

WOFL-TV reported that about a dozen businesses work out of the center, including Alternative Service Concepts LLC, Batts Morrison Wales & Lee, Engauge Communications, Hirschy Development, Jacobs Engineering Group Inc, Natures Table Cafe, Orlando Movers, R w Beck Inc, Reynolds Smith & Hills Inc., Servant Investments Management LLC, Shuffield & Lowman, Sunshine Network, SunSports and Tews Company Staffing.

The surrounding businesses were placed on lockdown, according to WOFL.

Fox coverage is pitiful. They were way behind yesterday too. I can’t believe I have to watch CNN.

"...I too sense a great evil moving in our country and world."

So have I. I've felt a darkness coming over the world for several years now. There's a malevolent ignorance is so many people today, including our so-called leaders.

Over many years I’ve learned Fox is the last place to go for actual breaking news. Sad to say.

Egads. I can’t believe I’ve done it. I removed the CNN block and have switched to them to watch.

Figures, eh?

Since I live a few miles from this I’m watching local news and don’t have to deal with the cables.

Woohoo! Lucky you. You don't have to carry all the time, at least keep one in your drawer or some other convenient place.

Personally - I find it comforting to see someone carry (unless their drawers are showing and their pants are hanging off their hips, that would probably creep me out).
