Good morning, Everyone. Good morning

Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen for today’s activities.
Cute story on Fat Cat. There's a vet office not far from here that has 2 or 3 "greeters" and lots of toys and beds strewn throughout.

The DC Metroland weather report

~ Today.....Abundant sunshine. High 54F. Winds NNW at 10 to 20 mph.

~ Tonight.... Generally clear. Low 33F. Winds light and variable.

Today and tomorrow are looking good weather-wise. Lots of sunshine, which helps when you're feeling bad.

I'm home again today but will try to do some work. Another battle with the work computer is ahead. Yipeee.

Time for me to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are. Stick around and meet and greet the military or some of the families that stop in.

Now remember, the Canteen is ALWAYS

So, come on in and sit for a while. There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS

REMEMBER THEM

Good morning to you too. (((HUGS))) to you.

I could not believe when zero started his presser yesterday and did NOT even mention the Ft. Hood disaster until he was about 10 minutes into it. He is such an ass.

Good morning, dear ((HUGS))

Terrible news. But, don’t be surprised “O” didn’t want anyone to top his own appearance on television.

KLBJ cut away from his presser when he started his rant and later replayed the few words he said about Ft. Hood.

We do not need muslimes in the military. The radicals need to be shipped to hell, via some bullets dipped in hog lard.

Morning Beachie!!

I hope you're feeling better.

Real wet and stormy out here, looks like an indoor weekend.

Have a good weekend!

Good morning, Pro ((HUGS))

I hope to be feeling better soon. I’m going to get me something hot-n-spicy for lunch and hope to sweat it out.
Got one granddaughter and her daddy coming to spend the night tomorrow.

Have a good weekend. Maybe a good weekend to do some reading while it’s wet?

From El Gato:

Elgato you safe down there?

Safe and sound, although a bit warm. More on that later. Locked in at the moment. I was actually off post when it went down, but they hadn’t locked down my part of the post until after I’d returned. I only went back because my phone was on my desk, and I don’t have a land line. Knew wife and others would be “upset” if they called, which they did, and I didn’t answer. Fortunately office mates answered, since they had tried to call me and the phone rang in between the two of them.

Stopped by the house to let the mutt out, and took the time to get the carbine out, and to remove the FMJs from the gun I’d taken to the shoot and replace then with JHPs.

Unfortunately, the good guys are banned from having weapons on post, under most circumstances. So they are still at home. I really thought I would not be able to get back on, and intended to just go back to the house, and email folks telling them where I was and that I was OK.

Thanks for asking.
