An armed Columbus, OH home invader was fatally shot in self defense by one of his victims.
Police say that several people were inside a home on Northglen Drive when an armed home invader and at least one accomplice rushed in through the door and threatened the lives of those present. One of the victims reportedly grabbed his self defense handgun and shot one of the armed robbers in self defense. Police arrived to find one home invader lying dead on the living room floor, and another suspect hiding in a bathroom. The surviving suspect was apprehended, and police say that the citizen who fired in self defense will not face charges.
Home invasions constitute a deadly threat to the occupants. The criminals who commit such crimes often murder, shoot, stab, torture, kidnap, and permanently injure and disfigure their victims. The result is that the lives of law abiding, innocent people can be ended or ruined in an instant. The good news is that gun owners like this citizen can, and do, stop such criminals every day. Society as a whole benefits as well, as a criminal who is stopped by an armed citizen today will be unable to victimize another person tomorrow.

and the question is.....who is primarily committing these home invasions?
We think my son may have stopped one the other week. He lives in a nice neighborhood in Alexandria. He noticed three hispanic men — two in a neighbors garage (looking around) and one at her door. The neighbor foolishly opened the door when one guy knocked. Then my son heard her yell out so he walked out of his house toward hers with his firearm somewhat visible and his dog. Needless to say they took off and the cops said he did the right thing. I don’t think this woman ever thanked him nor did she realize how bad her future could have been.
People should get guns in their house and locks off their doors.
I’m going to take my locks off before I go to work. ;-)
I just removed all my locks and placed them for sale on ebay.
