Hoffman is going to wait until tomorrow for further results. Fox got ahead of itself . . I don’t see any other news op calling it for the Democrat.
On negative side, we were hoping that we could keep this seat but it seems we lost. On the positive side, we managed to prevent another Jefford and Specter, and push the DIABLO to come out for the Dim. Owens will only keep the seat for about a year. Next year, we will try to get it back without any bruhaha...

This is a big loss for conservatives. The analysis will be that moderation won, extremism lost. That while Obama lost clout in NJ, Palin, Limbaugh et al lost clout in NY-23. That the winners in NJ and VA were moderate republicans. By putting so much attention on this one stupid race, and then losing it, the conservatives take some of the sting out of the DEM losses.

He should have waited till the last absentee ballot was counted and then demanded a recount if he still lost.
Hoffman got a pass this time for not being from the district because of the unusual circumstances. If he doesn’t re-locate they need to find someone else.
It’s all good. We got the big wins today, New Jersey and Virginia. Newt and the RNC are the ones to blame for this loss. They rallied around a RINO loser instead of sticking up for the Conservative candidate. They came out too late. Newt is a prick for defending DeDe and now he has egg on his face. Of course the media will spin this saying it was Sarah and the rest of the “Extreme right wingers” who caused Owens to win, but really, who gives a flying F what the damn media thinks. New Jersey, the most liberal of liberal states EVER, went to a Republican..now THAT is REAL change

Tonight was still a great night on the whole for Republicans. Not only did we win the vastly more important governorships, but we also stopped a true RINO from governing under our banner. Hoffman will have that seat in two years.
Tonight Dems are crying in their lattes.

She endorsed owens and took 900 grand from republicans. But we sent a message to the rinos and will win the seat back in a year.
Maybe with Hoffman 2010 the GOP would actually spend money on a real Republican.

When I went to vote today, I noticed that Dede’s name was still on the ballot. She got over 3,000 votes.
