The UN Housing Police: International community organizers come to America
The Washington Times ^ | November 3, 2009 | Editorial

Posted on 11/02/2009 8:47:31 PM PST by Abakumov

Raquel Rolnik, the Special Rapporteur on Adequate Housing, is assuming the role of a global community organizer, with the U.N. acting as the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) on steroids. This is part of a gradual encroachment on American sovereignty. The United Nations should not be in the business of organizing radical American interest groups to stir up trouble within our borders.

The United Nations should not be in the business of organizing radical American interest groups to stir up trouble within our borders.

The Human Rights Council decides what is their business in the US, per the American Convention on Human Rights (1978), which places such fuzzy language in the hands of bureaucrats to "clarify." Isn't it nice to know that the Supreme Law of the Land is in the hands of unelected and unaccountable agents of foreign governments? It's all so "fair."

As Chevy Chase used to say to Jane Curtin on Saturday Night Live (updated):, “Raquel, you slut!”.

Who appointed this stupid SOB to this UN job? She sounds like a Saul Alinsky disciple.

I saw how slums were torn down and private home ownership given to those who used to live in the slum projects in Philadelphia and Baltimore. Homeownership instills a pride in oneself and that is what makes for good neighborhoods.

We don’t need more highrise crime/drug centers among our poor. These people have suffered enough and they should be liberated from these animal warehouses, not shoved back into them by the Alinsky/Obama marxists and their dupes. Seems that Obama’s and the UN’s polices are “Back to the plantations. We’ll take care of you there.”

These projects are nothing but “collectives” without the flag or Lenin or Stalin or Mao hanging from the balconies (Che, maybe).

Tell this dumb clown to go the slums of Rio De Janeiro if she wants to be useful. Otherwise, shut up, stay her, and read a book.

I wonder if Ms. Rolnik has any discoverable ties to C.O.I. (Community Organizers International - formerly ACORN Int’l)???

I find it very interesting that she will be visiting Pine Ridge as well. Technically, that’s not even part of the U.S.. I wonder if she will be meeting with Russell Means, and I’m wondering how he will feel when someone from the UN tries to tell the Lakota nation what to do when he’s still trying to withdraw from the US treaties??? THAT would be an interesting discussion, for sure!

Noting the cities she will be visiting I’d bet I could write her report FOR her using typical liberal talking points.

I think this woman should tour Afghanistan, Pakistan, Africa, Iran, North Korea, China, or as the author stated even Ms. Rolnik’s own country, Brazil, etc... BEFORE she tries to claim that America is unjust as far as providing housing for their citizens - which is NOT the governments job in the first place!

Fannie and Freddie own over half of the mortgages in the US.

And the US government is still “giving them out” (subprimes, etc.) like candy through the FHA.

The US government is taking over real estate as an asset to back its entry into a global currency.

THe first thing this woman needs to do is to untie her hair. It is cutting off blood circulation to her brain, which would explain why she is such an idiot.

Somebody send her $15 so that she can visit a “Quick Cuts” hair salon while she is here.

Damned. I’ll be she got lots of candy scaring people at Halloween.
