Doing OK. Nice weather here. Getting ready to take Chuck to his scheduled doctor's appointment later today.
Glad you have nice weather. No more power outages for you all. What an ironic thing to happen on Halloween. :)
I hope you and Chuck are feeling well.
Good morning, Everyone. Good morning to our AWESOME military, our allies, and their families
Thank you, Lauren, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities.
Oh Look! We're going right in my neighborhood again.
Now for our local DC Metroland weather report
~ Today....Partly cloudy skies. High 64F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph.
~ Tonight....Mostly clear. Low 36F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.
Woowe....was it foggy this morning. Not so bad that you couldn't see the cars ahead of you but descending fast by the time I got to work. It's lifting now and the sun is trying to peek through.
Yes, I know I'm late again. Got sidetracked but now I'm here to say hello and to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. And, remember Ill be watching!
So, come on in and sit for a while. There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS

Good morning to you and (((HUGS))). Lots of work again today.
I didn’t have much time for FR yesterday and not much since I am at work today.
Understand that.
I’ve been pulled away by work and trying to sneak when pinged.
Did you ever wonder why there are 'No Dead Penguins' on the ice in Antarctica? Where do they go?
Wonder no more! It is a known fact the penguin is a very ritualistic bird. It lives an extremely ordered and complex life. The penguin is committed to its family and will mate for life, as well as maintaining a form of compassionate contact with its offspring throughout its life.
If a penguin is found dead on the ice surface, other members of the family and social circle have been known to dig holes in the ice, using their vestigial wings and beaks, until the hole is deep enough for the dead bird to be rolled into and buried. The male penguins then gather in a circle around the fresh grave and sing:
"FREEZE a jolly good fellow."
"Then, they kick him in THE ICE HOLE."
(Did you really believe I know anything about penguins?)
