Palin's Latest Facebook Note
As the vice president knows, I have always advocated an all-of-the-above approach to American energy independence. Among other things, my alternative energy goal for Alaska sits at 50 percent because Alaska reached more than 20 percent during my term in office. The Obama-Biden administration, on the other hand, recently announced a renewable goal of only 25 percent. However, domestic drilling should remain a top priority in order to meet Americas consumption and security needs.
The vice presidents extreme opposition to domestic energy development goes all the way back to 1973 when he opposed the Alaska pipeline bill. As Ann Coulter pointed out, Biden cast one of only five votes against the pipeline that has produced more than 15 billion barrels of oil, supplied nearly 20 percent of this nations oil, created tens of thousands of jobs, added hundreds of billions of dollars to the U.S. economy and reduced money transfers to the nations enemies by about the same amount.
This nonsensical opposition to American domestic energy development continues to this day. Apparently the Obama-Biden administration only approves of offshore drilling in Brazil, where it will provide security and jobs for Brazilians. This election is about American security and American jobs.
Theres one way to tell Vice President Biden that were tired of folks in Washington distorting our message and hampering our nations progress: Hoffman, Baby, Hoffman!
- Sarah Palin
Im sorry I missed that she has stepped into the 2012 race already? Lets take a look at right now. She is positioning herself just fine in 2009 thank you.
Biden already was pretty much a pile of pulp!
It was Facebook
don’t set your expectations so high.
She was writing to everyday folks who post on Facebook, not writing a State of the Union address.
Don’t you comprehend PLAIN English? jeeeeez ..... go read her facebook notes.
Serious...like Obomba...huh?
That speaks volumes...not lony about the importance of this election and the message it will send, but also of Sarah's rising star and influence.
not having read through a history book in years, just going by anecdotal stories i’ve read here and there i have to wonder if they teach anything at all about presidents not named Washington,Lincoln and Obama.
The press, GOP elites gasped..."How could she turn against the party pick?"
Now, Dede Scozzafava, the GOP darling, has dropped out because SARAH pointed out the obvious. Thompson jumped on the bandwagon, and so did others.
Newt looks like an idiot for supporting Scozzafava. Steele looks emasculated because he didn't have the balls to say no to a Scozzafava. Huckster and Romney look like wimps for not standing on principle.
The rest of the real conservatives listened to what Sarah said.
That's leadership.
Joe Biden - is that you?
Sad pile of excrement!
Fits just about everything else that you’ve ever posted though; consistancy!
Oh, clearly they will ... the question is, though: when the general public thinks a candidate is a poor imitation of Tina Fey, becoming "presidential" is the only way you're going to escape the taint.
"Presidential" in Sarah Palin's case would involve demonstrating that she is an intellectually serious person who is able to formulate, articulate, and carry out serious policies on a very broad range of issues.
She gave up her best chance to do that when she resigned as governor. Facebook postings and speeches to party faithful are a mighty poor substitute for actual political leadership.
She's got her work cut out for her, and stuff like this isn't going to help.
Dream on.
"He that control the present control the past.
"He that control the past control the future."
-- George Orwell
And our current socialist education system will ensure it will be so.
Hm. We’re not talking about Hoffman. We’re talking about a lame facebook posting on energy. Get back to me when you can tell the difference.
Ah, yes. You have no rational answer, do you?
LOL! Typical E-S non-content posting. You've been drinking again, haven't you?
The highlight of that whole last campaign was the debate between her and Biden. She cleaned his clock!!! Wish I had that on tape!! Palin was fabulous...IS fabulous!!!
KTHXBYE
I tried to figure out the best way to respond to a certain word in your post...
What an unfortunate choice of word to describe Tina Fey...
Why don’t you point out who else the conservatives have out there actually doing some good.
Sarah is positioning herself well.
