Im sorry I missed that she has stepped into the 2012 race already? Lets take a look at right now. She is positioning herself just fine in 2009 thank you.

It was Facebook
don’t set your expectations so high.
She was writing to everyday folks who post on Facebook, not writing a State of the Union address.

Hoffman, Baby, Hoffman.
That speaks volumes...not lony about the importance of this election and the message it will send, but also of Sarah's rising star and influence.

not having read through a history book in years, just going by anecdotal stories i’ve read here and there i have to wonder if they teach anything at all about presidents not named Washington,Lincoln and Obama.

Let's see......Sarah came out and said.."Hoffman's the guy."
The press, GOP elites gasped..."How could she turn against the party pick?"
Now, Dede Scozzafava, the GOP darling, has dropped out because SARAH pointed out the obvious. Thompson jumped on the bandwagon, and so did others.
Newt looks like an idiot for supporting Scozzafava. Steele looks emasculated because he didn't have the balls to say no to a Scozzafava. Huckster and Romney look like wimps for not standing on principle.
The rest of the real conservatives listened to what Sarah said.
That's leadership.

Are you saying people wont elect a non-presidential person? Oh, clearly they will ... the question is, though: when the general public thinks a candidate is a poor imitation of Tina Fey, becoming "presidential" is the only way you're going to escape the taint.
"Presidential" in Sarah Palin's case would involve demonstrating that she is an intellectually serious person who is able to formulate, articulate, and carry out serious policies on a very broad range of issues.
She gave up her best chance to do that when she resigned as governor. Facebook postings and speeches to party faithful are a mighty poor substitute for actual political leadership.
She's got her work cut out for her, and stuff like this isn't going to help.

Get back to me when you read the whole article. Or better yet do a little research on the energy policy in Alaska BEFORE and AFTER Palin was governor.
