Response to Vice President Biden's Comments Today About My Position On Energy Independence (Palin Be

Palin's Latest Facebook Note

As the vice president knows, I have always advocated an all-of-the-above approach to American energy independence. Among other things, my alternative energy goal for Alaska sits at 50 percent because Alaska reached more than 20 percent during my term in office. The Obama-Biden administration, on the other hand, recently announced a renewable goal of only 25 percent. However, domestic drilling should remain a top priority in order to meet America’s consumption and security needs.

The vice president’s extreme opposition to domestic energy development goes all the way back to 1973 when he opposed the Alaska pipeline bill. As Ann Coulter pointed out, “Biden cast one of only five votes against the pipeline that has produced more than 15 billion barrels of oil, supplied nearly 20 percent of this nation’s oil, created tens of thousands of jobs, added hundreds of billions of dollars to the U.S. economy and reduced money transfers to the nation’s enemies by about the same amount.”

This nonsensical opposition to American domestic energy development continues to this day. Apparently the Obama-Biden administration only approves of offshore drilling in Brazil, where it will provide security and jobs for Brazilians. This election is about American security and American jobs.

There’s one way to tell Vice President Biden that we’re tired of folks in Washington distorting our message and hampering our nation’s progress: Hoffman, Baby, Hoffman!

She gave up her best chance to do that when she resigned as governor. Facebook postings and speeches to party faithful are a mighty poor substitute for actual political leadership.

Find something else to do, you are making a fool of yourself.

Sarah Palin is head and shoulders above all of the GOP candidates from 2008, including McPain. She was the only entity which brought out conservative voters to vote for McPain on election day 2008. Now to say she does not possess the qualities needed is just absurd. Rank amateur? Funny, but those are the exact words my brother-in-law used to describe Obozo (he works for the Federal Government - though I cannot say at what level).

Define rank amateur? We’ve had the professional politicians for many years. Say all the right things using all the fancy politically correct terminology.

It was those fancy pants that ran the show that led to thousands of Americans killed on our own soil on September 11, 2001.

The one main job of our government and the elite snobs you support failed at it miserably.

Maybe a citizen like Sarah, a “rank amateur” in your parlance, would do better.

In case you missed it.

Palin is for American citizens living free and
secure from domestic terrorists like Reid and
Pelosi and foreign terrorists, like Obummer.

But it appears more and more all the time that she did indeed have an ulterior motive.

She did have an ulterior motive: Prevent family bankruptcy and maybe losing their house in order to pay over one-half million dollars in attorney's fees to answer, defend and win dismissal of the frivolous false ethics charges continually filed against her by the Rats. Apparently the laws in Alaska are so strict that it does not allow use of state money to defend oneself and even formation of a legal defense fund was subject to an ethics complaint. Addi tonally, time spent answering these meant time she was not able to govern so the state suffered from her lack of leadership.

I am hearing that CNN is referring to Biden as “Former Vice President”. What's up with that - did I miss an important news announcement from the Jurassic media?

As I read this, I could visualize and hear her speaking those words. Try that with a lesser politician, it’s hard, at best.

LOL, I can’t remember all my passwords and logins, how would I want to remember that? I’m not an old fogie, (I have an engineering degree) but it’s just not worth the bother. It’s a frigging internet site, people wake up, the control over you is slowly creeping in. I suppose, people older than 40 are feeling the tech stress and to hell with it. You kids younger than 40 should take a trip to the backwoods for at least a week and live quietly. You’ll really appreciate the peace and tranquility, and live passes much more slowly. I think we’ve lost that. Fast, fast, fast, change, change, change, new, new, new, latest, latest, latest, now, now, now. We’ve dealt with it without tech for thousands of years, now we need it more than ever. It’s nice to have, but it doesn’t need to invade our lives. Step back and take a break, it will do your world good.

perpetual circle jerk... I like.

Makes me think about my neighbor. She’s been
high since 1972. Has no computer and goes to
the library to “study”. She thinks she knows
about real estate because she took a class 20
years ago. Reality check.

Obviously, you are a liberal who mainlines anti-American media.

Well, no, ma'am, I'm not. But your assumption says volumes about the poor quality of your thought processes.

The media very successfully painted Sarah Palin as a twit. That's just a plain fact, and it's a political hurdle that she must overcome.

This practice by FReepers of oozing enthusiasm over her every mediocre facebook posting doesn't help her at all. If she's going to be a serious political figure, she needs to be held to adult standards.

You are so so right! PUI public schools can be harmful to your health!(’cept at the kos/du). Now that said, I find that if you went to enough little one room school houses, (uphill in a snow storm, of course) a little public education went a long way to your betterment! I know I’m better off for that side benefit.

Define rank amateur?

Let me put it to you this way, John -- just looking at some of the looming geopolitical issues that Sarah Palin would have to face.

Do you think Sarah Palin is up to the task of dealing with Vladimir Putin and a resurgent Russia's attempts to re-establish the Soviet Union? Is she up to the task of dealing effectively with Iran, or instability in Pakistan? Is she capable of dealing effectively with an expansionist and aggressive China?

If you think the answer to any of those questions is "yes," please provide solid evidence in the form of sustained analysis, in speeches or in writing by Sarah Palin, to support your answer.

Of course you will not find anything more detailed than Obama could provide ... and he's a rank amateur, too.
