The Vilification of Rush (Minority Thought Pattern)
American Thinker ^ | November 02, 2009 | Kenneth L. Hutcherson

Posted on 11/01/2009 10:06:41 PM PST by bogusname

...I truly believe that this is brought on by what I call the Minority Thought Pattern. Let's not mince words: the Minority Thought Pattern is the total disdain and hatred of what God has accomplished through the white male throughout history. Coming from an African-American, I know this will shock you...

The Hutch Writes a Hot Column
October 30, 2009
http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_103009/content/01125117.member.html

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT
RUSH: Well, look who got through. Our good friend the Reverend Dr. Ken Hutcherson from Seattle, former player, National Football League and now a man of the cloth in Seattle. Hutch, great to have you here. What’s up, buddy?

HUTCH: How you doing, my man.

RUSH: Pretty good.

HUTCH: Are you okay?

RUSH: Yeah. Oh, yeah, I’m fine.

HUTCH: Hey, that was great from the Senator from Iowa. I just want to congratulate you. He laid it out on Goodell.

RUSH: Steve King, I was stunned when I saw that. It was a fabulous job. I was very moved by it.

HUTCH: I tell you that’s the kind of defense that needs to be done about what’s going on in America. And, Rush, you know, I sent you an article that I was asked to write. And I just laid it out on the truth, and it’s too much to talk about on the air, but I have sent it out to places like the American Thinker, sent it out to American Spectator, Washington Post, but it seems it needs to be said, it needs to be said why they are attacking you. I’m not going to let it go. I’m going to get to the bottom of this. They have attacked my friend and brother.

There’s things that need to be said to African-Americans that they need to hear, that they don’t want to hear. That’s in the article. And there’s things that need to be said to America about why the white male is being attacked, and that’s coming from an African-American. And I’m going to get this out because it needs to be said.

RUSH: He sent me the column that he wrote. He was asked by — I won’t mention the publication — he was asked to submit it. When they got it, it was too hot, it was too hot, it was too hot. So he’s shopping it to other places. Did you say the American Thinker just now? Did you send it to them?

HUTCH: Yes, I sent to American Thinker —

RUSH: You sent to the Washington Post — all they’ll have to do is read it Hutch and they’ll be blown away. I don’t think they’ll ever, ever publish it, but if it’s too hot for anybody, we’ll put it on my website.

RUSH: Absolutely. We’ll give them a chance to try it, bro. I just want you to know, I’m not dropping this.

RUSH: I appreciate it. I love you.

HUTCH: Love you, bro.

RUSH: Now, you gotta tease it better than this. I don’t want you to define it, but you have a three-word phrase to describe what is happening here to the white male in America.

[]HUTCH: The minority thought pattern, the minority thought pattern is running America today.

RUSH: The minority thought pattern is running America. That’s the central theme of this.

HUTCH: Yes.

RUSH: Not what happened to me in the NFL, that’s just an example of the minority thought pattern in action.

HUTCH: Absolutely.

RUSH: It’s hot.

HUTCH: And wait ‘til it gets out, bro, we gonna shake up America on this one.

RUSH: My computer display was smokin’.

HUTCH: (laughing) I love you. Take care, man.

RUSH: Hey, wait, before you go, do you care about Favre going back to Green Bay this Sunday? You have a thought on the game?

HUTCH: Hey, bro, I cannot wait for the game to be played. I think the fans are going to have mixed emotions. You know what mixed emotions are, right? Mixed emotions are when your mother-in-law just went over the cliff in your new Cadillac. (laughing)

RUSH: (laughing) Yeah, with the tongue caught in the seat belt. I know. (laughing) You know, Ryan Longwell is Favre’s best buddy on the Vikings.

HUTCH: Yes.

RUSH: He was his best golf buddy when they were both in the Packers. And Longwell, when he went back to the Vikings, he was a kicker with the Vikings —

HUTCH: Right.

RUSH: — went back to Green Bay, he said he was stunned at the loud, never-ending boos that he got. He’s the kicker.

HUTCH: Well, I think the fans are going to be a little bit more representative of Favre because I think they know he got a little shafting going on when he left.

RUSH: Yeah. Maybe so. Maybe so.

HUTCH: Maybe so.

RUSH: How’s the game going to come out?

HUTCH: Oh. You know Minnesota is going to take it.

RUSH: There you have it. Minnesota takes it.

HUTCH: There you have it.

RUSH: It’s in the cards, a season sweep of the Packers for the Vikings. Hutch, I do love you, bub, I’m glad you called and good luck on finding somebody to publish your hot piece.

HUTCH: All right, my brother. Thank you.

RUSH: You bet. A minority thought pattern.
Jacksonville, Florida. Hello, Ed. Welcome to the EIB Network, sir. Great to have you here.

CALLER: Hello, Rush. This is Ed. I’m an unemployed electrician right now. I know that when the government doesn’t get its way they threaten to shut down the government and not approve the budget and do all kinds of things and say we’re going to suffer. Well, I think it’s time that we do like Gandhi or Lech Walesa did in Poland and all the workers in this country from construction workers to truck drivers to small business people to service people to cabdrivers, bus drivers and all this, take a week off and shut down the country for a while and see how the government likes that.

RUSH: Interesting. You know, it’s interesting you say this, and another football story. The Cleveland Browns are hosting somebody, I don’t remember who they’re playing, but it’s at home, and the fans are upset that the Browns have — since they were reconstituted after the original Browns went to Baltimore, a group of fans is trying to convince as many fans as possible to show up after the first quarter, so that the game opens on TV with empty seats. Maybe it’s not this game, a night game coming up or something. It’s a variation of what you’re talking about. That would be a fascinating thing to see if it ever happened, if everybody just did a John Galt for a week. That’s from Atlas Shrugged. Say to hell with it. The hell with this, and stay home, smoke cigars, go play golf.

But you understand something real quick. It’s very difficult not to engage in economic activity. You have to eat. So that means you have to go to the grocery store. What if they close? You can’t go to the White House and start eating sweet potatoes from Michelle’s garden. So it will be very, very tough to do. That’s why it is amazing Obama is succeeding in this and it’s devastating and it’s disappointing as it can be. You know how the government always gives itself opt out options, but, you know, we never have any option to opt out. I’d love to opt out of Social Security but I can’t. I would love to opt out of Medicare. I would love to opt out of all kinds of garbage. I’d love to say, no, it ain’t for me. But I have to, as we all do, when they come up with these mandates and these entitlements. My grandfather tried to send his Social Security check back. They would not take it, too big of an accounting problem and so forth.

The Minority Thought Pattern now wants a nineteen-burner stove with every pot separate and different, and that has given us multiculturalism today. Multiculturalism in its present form has already proven unworkable. Remember in the South the fight between blacks and whites with the concept of "separate but equal." Blacks realized that being "separate but equal" is not equality at all. Those separate pots are no different.

This is a very good point, IMO. The Leftists are essentially relabeling their old Jim Crow policies as 'separate but equal' 'multiculturalism'.

From a Biblical standpoint, multiculturalism pushed to an extreme is a bad idea. People tried this before at the Tower of Babel when everyone spoke the same language and were working together as one. God gave each of the different groups their own language to divide and confuse them.

Great article! God bless “The Hutch” for speaking out on this issue. Thanks to American Thinker for publishing it.
He nails it.

We need to recognize the blessings we have in being Americans, or we’re going to lose them.

I want to bump this excerpt from Rush’s interview with Chris Wallace on FNS too:

WALLACE: So do you think that the Republican Party — do you see it as a big-tent party or small-tent party?

RUSH: Big tent.

WALLACE: But you sound like you’re kind of saying to the moderates, particularly on social issues, “If we lose you, too bad.”

RUSH: Well, when I say big tent, I look at the United States of America. I’m an American. I love this country. I want everybody in it to do well. The conservative message is not, “OK, Hispanics, we have this plan for you. Women, we have this plan for you.” That’s what the Republican Party’s trying to do, and emulate group politics. And the history is why be Democrat lite? Let them handle that. Let’s go after the big tent that is the country, and let’s go get every person in this country — I don’t care what their race is, what their gender is, what their sexual orientation. If they are told that there is somebody that’s going to lead this country or party that is actually going to strengthen them, give them the tools, get out of their way and let them make this country work, the Republican Party can attract a majority like they haven’t seen since the ‘80s.
