Ministry of Health has not established the exact diagnosis of the epidemic disease in the western regions of Ukraine. Health Minister Vasyl Knyazevich has given information about spread of diseases in the Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv Regions today at the meeting of Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the Minister, the World Health Organization is ready to render assistance to Ukrainian experts and the Ministry of Health in order to establish the cause of death and development of disease flu in the Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv Regions.

"We are working at receiving the vaccine against influenza A (H1N1) also", - said Vasily Knyazevich and asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to render assistance.

Answering question of Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko about the definition of the specific nature of the disease, the head of the Ministry of Health said: "The nature of infections is viral one. “Poland has already organised quite reasonable help for Ukraine, but in a split second we will see swine flu in Belarus, we are already hearing something about Romania,” he said.

Chief sanvrach: from the “swine flu in Ukraine died only three people

Chief sanitary doctor of Ukraine Alexander Bilovol said that Ukraine had died, three of 14 patients “California” flu.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, this A. Bilovol said at today’s conference call, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko with the heads of the regions on the prevention of the spread of infectious diseases.

“At this moment there are 14 patients with” California “flu, three of whom died,” - said A. Bilovol.

At the same time, the chief medical officer did not specify the condition of the remaining 11 patients with “California” flu.

According to A. Bilovol, at midnight on November 4 Ukraine 478.454 registered thousands of cases of influenza and SARS. Since the beginning of the epidemic in Ukraine from complications from influenza, 81 people died, among them - 3 pregnant and 3 children.
