The leader of an Islamic mosque in Detroit, Mich., was shot and killed during an FBI raid Wednesday-- now the search is on for others involved.
Luqman Ameen Abdullah told his followers that a revolution on American soil could not succeed without violence. He said he was willing to fight the FBI, even if it meant death, to accomplish that goal.
Abdullah got his wish on Wednesday. He was killed in a shootout with FBI agents at a warehouse in Dearborn, Mich., just outside of Detroit.
Abdullah opened fire on the agents after they attempted to arrest him on charges including conspiracy to sell stolen goods and illegal possession and sale of firearms.
Eight other suspects were arrested in the case. Two more are still missing.

He was the imam, or leader, of a radical Sunni Islamic sect in Detroit called Ummah. Federal investigators say Ummah sought to resist the government and establish an Islamic state within the U.S.
This group wanted to establish basically a parallel society that implemented Sharia law.
Federal agents zeroed in on Abdullah-- also known as Christopher Thomas-- after a two-year investigation.
Abdullahs followers were mostly African-American converts to Islam. Ummah believed that a convicted cop killer and former black panther named Jamil al-Amin would one day be the leader of their Islamic state.
Investigators say Abdullah trained his followers in firearms, swords and martial arts and beat children with sticks at his Detroit mosque.

It’s not a religion. So anyone who “converts” to this world-domination movement cleverly disguised as a religion should lose USA citizenship and be deported.
Exactly right. If it were a small cult of a few thousand people, it would be persona non grata.
And yet because there are a billion????
