Yep...I'm home for a long one this time - til January. I needed a freakin' BREAK.
I'm working on getting Samir-kitty home. The vet in Baghdad will visit the villa where he (and I when I'm there) lives ten or fewer days before he flies and give him his shot updates, rabies shot and certification. Then, he goes to Amman and from there a logistics company that deals in pets will get him to me.
I've even found someone to take care of him when I go back to Iraq.

Doing well here, dealing, one day at a time, with aging parents. At this very moment waiting for the first snowfall. The rain stopped and the temps dipped into the 20s. Now we wait. LOL!!
