In an interview with CBS's "Early Show," Levi Johnston continued the war against Sarah Palin he has been waging almost daily on his Twitter account. He reiterated negative revelations he made about Palin in a recent Vanity Fair piece, saying that her daughter Bristol played the mom role in her children's lives, and that Palin repeatedly referred to her son Trig as her "retarded baby."
CBS's Maggie Gonzalez asked Johnston some tough questions: Why should we believe you? Why does it sound like you're dead set on hurting these people? Johnston explained that he was hurt by the Palins shutting him out of his child's life and, though he isn't "into hurting people," feels justified in his media offensive. He also said he is still holding back some "huge" things about the former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate.

The word retarded has been given a bad rap. It accurately describes certain children’s development.
I know Trigs diagnosis, isn’t retardation, but the overall outcome isn’t changed by that.
In some ways Trig’s growth is retarded. In other ways he will likely be gifted too. That is the reality of it.
Just imagine this was a leading Democrat woman, and some Republican kid that dated her daughter was making public appearances to trash her like this. Just how many invitations would he get from the same folks that think Levi is a credible, interesting, and appropriate interview?
This PC crap is sickening. It’s being used to demonize a good lady. To the degree it will be successful, this is dangerous territory.
Who knows. But, it is interesting that Oprah's own show (and the other Harpo produced shows including Dr. Phil, Rachel Ray and the Oz guy) are all distributed by Paramount Distribution, which like Entertainment Tonight, is owned by CBS/Viacom.
Essentially, CBS profits from the salacious things that Levi alleges, and will profit from the Oprah show with Palin as well. It will also be interesting to see if Oprah brings up Levi. She is a Democrat, but she loathes deadbeat Dads, or so I'm told. Levi is the new poster-child for deadbeat dads.
