We have troops in Afghanistan. They need reenforcement.
Taking ones time with the initial decision to commit troops is admirable, though I will remind all that the left carped at Bush for taking so long to respond to 9-11 until he did and toppled the Taliban so quickly. Taking ones time to send in requested reenforcements is fool hardy.

Hey, Barry! You friggin dope! Whether or not to commit troops to Afghanistan is contingent upon what's actually needed in Afghanistan not in your need to be seen making a "solemn decision." Besides, you already gave it away when you guys floated the wacky notion that we shouldn't do anything there until there's a more stable political regime. Ever stop to think that perhaps the political stability could have anything to do with how much the people there can depend on us to root out and destroy destabilizing forces? The more people get slaughtered because of your dithering, the more their blood will be on your dithering hands.
