Hundreds of union members and organizers descended on the streets of downtown Chicago Monday morning to picket the offices of Goldman Sachs Inc. and Wells Fargo & Co.

The group, which included supporters from community group National People's Action and the Service Employees International Union, has organized the protests to coincide with the annual meeting of the American Bankers Association. The group is demanding that "banks end their over-reliance on greed and profits and commit to using their taxpayer bailouts and backstops to help America's economy recover," said a news release from the Service Employees International Union.

I thought Goldman Sachs, Obama and SEIU were all in the same camp, so to speak.

Yep. SEIU must have misunderstood Rahm’s memo.

Big Business, Big Labor, and BIG Government...

Hey, let’s ask Michelle (the fashion icon) if “purple” is the “new brown,” shall we?

Historically, this sounds familiar:

Hitler blames the Jews in the Bank and stock exchanges. He claims they have profited from the war. Hitler also claims that the Jews only work to benefit themselves instead of the whole society. He also attacks the left and right wing. Hitler believes that Nationalism and Socialism should be considered one and the same and not two different things as the Jews saw them. He also believes that there should be only one race with complete uniformity. It also seems that he advocates the removal of the Jews because they "lack the conception of an activity which builds up the life of the community."

Goldman Sachs must've done something to piss Obama off.

“The group, which included supporters from community group National People’s Action and the Service Employees International Union ...” IIRC, National People’s ACtion is one of the 300+ sub-orgs of ACORN in Congressman Isa’s congressional report on ACORN’s criminality. I wonder, could Van JOnes’s fingerprints be on this ‘organizing’? Towlegs of his three-legged Apollo Alliance monster are represented!

Why don’t they go picket the Congress and the White House since there is the source of the bail outs?

Oh but that right, they are Democrat Party whores who do only what their party masters tell them to do.

Wells Fargo offered to pay back the money last spring and was told THEY COULD NOT DO THAT by Govt regulators!

I was close to Chicago for work last week and heard ads playing pretty much constantly on Chicago radio asking for union thugs to gather for this.

I wish the people in the offices did what the folks in London who work in the financial sector did when the anarachists were engaging in their clueless Michael Moore type protests.

In London, the office dwellers leaned out the windows and threw some paper currency at the protestors, to mock them.

Could have been worse, they could have thrown coins.

"The group is demanding that "banks end their over-reliance on greed and profits and commit to using their taxpayer bailouts and backstops to help America's economy recover," said a news release from the Service Employees International Union."

And the class warfare continues . . . While I have no particular fondness for Goldman, it really worries me that people have so little comprehension of economics.
