I had two enforcers and they were tough: my petite Strict Japanese-Catholic Mummy and Ex-Army Father. No wiggle room with them. The only man that I felt comfortable to introduce them to was my Husband, and he passed their muster!!!!!

You can say what you want-—but bottom line. “Crime” in America is a non-white issue—even much white collar/identity theft crime is. I wish I could wave a magic wand and change it, but I can’t. In NYC, gun killings are 98% the work of blacks/Hispanics. Whites in Los Angeles account for less than 5% of the murders in the metro area.

I recently read an interview with Charles Barkley, the ex-basketball player turned announcer, who lamented that people gave him static when he made an outrageous comment, and that whites lauded an outspoken white man as “ gutsy” while a black who was that way was demonized. He inferred it had a chilling effect, making it tough for blacks to speak their minds.
Trouble is, Charles is like the 900- pound guy who describes himself as “a little chunky” He’s not accurate in his self-definition. He isn’t “outspoken” he’s an Olympic class asshole—and whites would call a white man who acted like CB an asshole, as well.
As to the chilling effect—We have a lot of problems in this country, but black people who are reticent to run their mouths is not one of them.

Surely this is caused by all the racism in America. I’d love to hear someone describe the mechanism by which that happens.

Due to political correctness and people like Jackson and Sharpeton playing the race card, there has been precious little of the latter for the last 40+ years, and many don’t recognize it when they see it.

It is hard to ignore when the per-capita crimes committed rates are on the order of 6X - 8X higher than for whites. And when blacks demand to be treated as a group in many other areas. Why not in analysis of crime?
This is a cultural issue that needs to be honestly addressed, is the brutal truth of the matter. And playing the race card doesn’t help that happen.
It’s not the COLOR, it’s the CULTURE.

Im sure there are some freepers who are black. Does that make this story untrue? Is the truth better left unspoken because it may offend someone? That mentality my friend is one of the reasons this country is so screwed up.
I have a friend whose brother is a county jailer. He said it is not uncommon for three generations of black males to be in jail at the same time and a virtual guarantee that if one generation is in jail, other generations have been. He said they talk about jail time as an inconvenience, not punishment.
I used to think the theories about welfare being the Democrats answer to civil rights legislation as a means of continuing black oppression were kind of nutty, but not so much anymore.
