Time stamp 1 hour short on the forum?

Posted on 10/25/2009 5:30:22 PM PDT by Eagles2003

Seems the time stamp for posts and articles are off by one hour.

Daylight savings time is next weekend.

Time is 8:29 pm now on the east coast, Monday night football started ten minutes ago.

“What OS are you using?”

I think you found it, Win XP Pro and I had to re-load last weekend. Some virus got past ZoneAlarm and Avast and wreaked a little havoc. No data loss, just hit the OS.

No way I downloaded the patch for the daylight savings time change. Probably wasn’t included on the disk I used.

But my clock is fine and correct. I use Atomic clock sync which probably fixed it, don’t remember re-booting since last night. Gates and MS probably hosed the OS again before then. Good job Bill, I had every security update loaded and it still got thru.

Where do I buy a time stamp? I would like to send myself something 15 years ago.

Ah, another thread on which to note that bi-annual clock switching is an exercise in futility.

The time stamp on my Commodore Vic 20 reads 3:29 am, April 17th, 1987.
Everything’s cool here.

“Back to the Future” may be the greatest movie trilogy ever! He was also great as "Jim" in Taxi!

Did the car start life as a Bricklin

LOL! I used to spend my summers near the Bricklin plant. Way ahead of its time in 1973.
