You’re standing in your kitchen making coffee. You are naked, but no one else is home. It’s early in the morning and you are in the privacy of your own home. All right, so maybe you’re a little bit odd, and maybe not everyone makes coffee naked. But your house, your rules, right?
That’s probably what Virginia resident Eric Williamson was thinking last Monday morning as he made himself coffee while dressed in nothing but his birthday suit. Unfortunately for Williamson, he wasn’t quite as alone as he thought. Walking through his yard were a woman and her seven-year-old son, on their way to the son’s school. The woman — a wife of a police officer – saw Williamson’s naked torso through his window and called the cops. Williamson was arrested and charged with indecent exposure.
There are some disputed accounts of this story. It is unclear precisely what time of the morning it happened and whether or not the man moved to another window as the mother and child walked across the lawn in order to remain in their range of vision.What’s not in dispute here is that the man was in his own home and the mother and kid were on his property, walking across his grass.....

ColdWater, I could care less if I used the term or not. I honestly have no idea, and if you find a link to me using the term, I wouldn’t care if I did. I just didn’t find a post with me using the term. So, go ahead and post the link where I’m using it. I want to see why you’re so upset about it.

I am not upset! I outed the originator of the thread and Still Thinking and you kept bugging me till I thought, why not! And out of google you popped out! I am just giving you permission to use the term jack-booted thugs now that y'all have been outed.
If you want to know where I hang out, you can check the homeschool threads. My big issue is parental rights in education. Those are the threads where you’ll normally find me. I don’t really “hang out” with anyone else.

What mess am I in? You and I are on different pages here. ;-) I have to say, I don’t tend to use that particular term. I’m also not a cop-hater, if that’s what you’re trying to say (though I have come across crooked cops, and I’m not happy with it; neither should anyone else be.)
I don’t like arguing this much with anyone on this forum. We’re all supposed to be on the same side. We can agree to disagree on certain cases. This will have to be one of those cases. I just don’t see it the way you do. I think a suburban mom and the police dept. are overreacting.
