Has everyone seen this: “The Most Important Number in Politics Today.”

Doug Hoffman is the Conservative alternative in this race (or Hoffman by PayPal).

Markos Moulitsas, founder of The Daily Kos has endorsed Scozzafava. Dede Scozzafava has also been endorsed by NYSUT, the largest labor union in New York, and an affiliate of the National Education Association.

Scozzafava also holds these positions:

Scozzafava has also run in past elections on the Working Families Party (a progressive party associated with ACORN) line on the ballot.

This lady isn’t a RINO, she is a big “R” libeRal democRat. Mark Steyn has coined the term DIABLO for her and others like her. Democrat In All But Label Only.

There are also at least 17 unprincipled DIABLO enablers in the house who have donated funds or otherwise supported to this LibeRal democRat's DIABLO’s campaign. They include Boehner, Cantor, Sessions, Hensarling, Brown-Waite and McCotter. I don’t have a full list, but I will be looking for it. These unprincipled enablers should be targeted for elimination in the primaries next year.

Also, perhaps those of us who donated to the RNC or RCCC should ask for our money back so we can support the conservative candidates of our choice.

More threads ...

From the desk of
cc2k:
I support Doug Hoffman for Congress (PayPal).

Please, spread the word about this important election on November 3, 2009 in New York’s 23rd congressional district.

Hey, you “pragmatist” RINO Party “leaders”:

If you won’t represent our views.
Don’t claim to speak for us!

We *will* disavow you!

“This is the game-changer,” added Dick Armey”...

In some respects, true. If Hoffman looses, will we be hearing screams about how his supporters divided the party, causing the Dem to win....similar to the rants heard against those who refused to support McCain/Palin? If he wins, hopefully, going forward, we will NOT be subject to such accusations!

In any event, I don’t consider folks like Armey and others who support amnesty, as part of ANY “conservative” party/movement. It would be no different than including McCain.

“Former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, former Senator Rick Santorum, former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, current Minnesota Rep. Michelle Bachmann, former Tennessee Senator and presidential candidate Fred Thompson, and former presidential candidate Steve Forbes have all backed Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman over Republican Dede Scozzafava.”

YES!!!! Strong conservative principles WORK when followed.

Atlanta Pitting conservative purists against party pragmatists, a growing number of national Republican figures are bucking the party standard and backing a third-party candidate in the sole congressional election scheduled this year, upstate New York’s 23rd congressional district.

I look at the choice as between conservatives vs. RINOs, not pragmatists. Democrat-lite has repeatedly failed for the Republican Party; voters would rather have a real Democrat every time. The conservatives are just trying to get the Republican Party back on track, more like a return to the consistent principles put forth by Ronald Reagan.

“They’re making New York 23 a last stand,” blogger Erick Erickson tells Politico. “New York should be a hill to die on for conservative activists.”

Last stand!

More like an opening salvo!

Folks, this NOT the only congressional election this year. There is a special election for the 10th congressional district of California between rat John Garamendi and Republican David Harmer. This seat had been held by rat Ellen Tauscher until she joined Zero’s team.

Harmer is within reach and could convert another seat from blue to red. Consider sending your support.

Does this mean a New York republican is most likely a democrat dressed up as a republican with a democrat clown nose, big gov’t shoes and sad eyes due to the makeup?....

Vote early and often.
Give a vote for some dead relatives too.

The dems do it. XD

Curious how it is Republicans who are upsetting the apple cart by supporting the conservative, but Markos Moulitsas endorsement of the Republican is overlooked.

Pitting conservative purists against party pragmatists

Well, first let's get the language straight. There's nothing "pragmatic" about kicking your base in the face and nominating a stupid jerk who is more liberal than the Democrat just because some operative owes her a favor. Pragmatic means sensible, and this nomination was nothing but STUPID.

Second, there's nothing finicky or "purist" about opposition to abortion and gay marriage and big union worship. Would the Democrats sit still while their party bosses nominated a candidate who said that he hated gays and wanted to murder them? Well, we won't sit still when they nominate a woman who wants to help Obama kill more babies, or force gay activists on the military, or push for gay marriage.

This was a basic mistake on the part of the Republican leadership, local and national. They've done this sort of thing repeatedly, and eviscerated the party as a result. It's time to tell them "enough." This woman must lose, whether or not the Conservative candidate wins. And everyone involved must go.

Thanks for the info from Club for Growth — just saw their ad and discovered that Hoffman is a Conservative REPUBLICAN that is supported by the Conservative Party. This is a special election with different rules then the regular election.

No wonder Fred Thompson and Dick Armey endorsed Hoffman along with others because he is a Republican and the woman is an idiot that is running. All beginning to make sense now. RNC should NOT be wasting donor dollars on this race IMHO.

It would have been nice in all of these threads I have read to discover that Hoffman was a Conservative Republican but that wasn’t the case until I saw Club for Growth. Now if Club for Growth is wrong that Hoffman is NOT a Conservative REPUBLICAN then I would expect a retraction.

Online Tea Party

Both Doug Hoffman and Dede Scozzafava have pages on Facebook. Currently, Hoffman has 1,550 fans to 329 for the RINO.

This can be considered an online poll and serve as an embarrassment to the ACORN candidate.

“Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty — a potential presidential candidate in 2012 — suggested Friday on ABC News that he’s strongly considering backing Hoffman, as well.”

Some “leader”. Palin and Bachmann are way out in front on this showing leadership, while Pawlenty waffles.

Save your money Tim, you don’t stand a chance in 2012.
