A Nuclear expert who can’t negotiate the extreme science of taking a step. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm?????
Nothing to see here. Makes perfect sense. Move along please.

Thanks for the ping, Cindy.
The stairwells in the Vienna International Centre complex are quite large and, from the top of a 28 floor building, you can see all the way down to the 3rd level cellar. Each floor is about 10 feet high, so that's quite a ways go go.
A few months ago, a U.S. citizen fell down one of these under suspicious circumstances. There was speculation that it was suicide, but the autopsy indicated that the man was suffering from something like an angina attack.

It appears he fell down the open space in the middle stairwell. However, the barrior to the stairwell is about 4 feet high and follows the stairs all the way down. It would be kind of a freak accident to innocently “fall” into this stairwell.

The stair well is hollow?
Every stair case I’ve ever looked down you see the landing for the next floor.
I’ve never seen one that has a hollow core the stairs wrap around.

The stair well is hollow?
Every stair case Ive ever looked down you see the landing for the next floor.
Ive never seen one that has a hollow core the stairs wrap around.
Here is one example of many. The staircase is the part with the stairs. The stairwell is the space the staircase ascends and descends through. In some stairwells, the switchback of the stairs is only inches wide. In other stairwells there's a central space that may be many, many, many stories high. If you fall into it the right way, you can go all the way to the bottom.

That is quite ornate.
