Shortly before Super Bowl XXII, Clint Didier had a dream that his team, the Washington Redskins would be down, but come back to win, and that he would catch a touchdown pass.
That dream came true.
Later that year, Didier dreamed that he would no longer be with the the Redskins and watch from afar as they played in another Super Bowl.
That dream also came true.
Now, Clint dreams of going back to Washington, D.C., this time as a U.S. Senator, to rein in what he sees as a government out of countrol.
Disgusted at the confirmation of Obama administration officials such as Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, who failed to pay social security or self-employment taxes from 2001 to 2004, and former "Green Jobs" czar Van Jones, who has Marxist affiliations and believes in 9/11 conspiracy theories, Didier announced at a Tea Party held last month in the Tri-Cities that he was considering running for the U.S. Senate next year against Democrat Patty Murray. In his speech, he proclaimed that "I can honestly say I do not trust my government" and that "I, Clint Didier, want to answer the call to service. I want to work toward a return to the Constitution and its precepts."

Hearing Didier’s name and “tight end” should help him with the female vote.

Let the vetting begin!
I don't care too much about what he did as a football player...but I do care about his ideology, his principles, and his plans for the people he intends to serve.
He better know right from the git-go that he's going to have to go through the same "baptism-by-fire" that every conservative seeking higher office has to endure.(He might want to have lunch with Sarah sometime soon.)
If he can clear those hurdles,i'd back him.
But after what's been going on in recent years with the republican party,i'm not giving one stinking inch on ANY candidate who purports to be conservative. The only one i'm comfortable with right now is Sarah, and i'm sticking to that.

Nah, the liberal women in WA are earth muffins who are attracted to tofu eating, global warming, only athletic if they ride a bicycle to work men. My s-i-l is one of those and I went to a huge party at her house this summer where they all gathered and I had to leave before I blew a fuse at a woman who wants us to outlaw grocery bags at stores, even department stores. I was in by 6 and out by 7 o’clock.

I agree if you talk about Seattle (don’t know about Tacoma), but rural WA is very conservative and maybe the Obama presidency will motivate them. I have a bunch of friends in Colville who can’t wait for the next election.

What killed her last opponent was the debate where she pointed out that he was from Spokane but lived in Seattle area. She is an idiot as well as “where in the world is?” maria cantell. We were a test state for stolen elections in ‘04 when the governor’s race was stolen in broad daylight - ACORN has an office in downtown Seattle - King county is the worst county yet the most influential, where the libs are and the U of W students are too, as well as the dreadlocks hanging out.

Tacoma is more conservative, but the population is smaller than King County, and the political machine is in King County, the state is more conservative than the Seattle area, just like Oregon is conservative on the outskirts of Portland, but they have the machine and greater population. Liberals have ruined two beautiful states.
We voted in the last '08 election and our ballots were placd in taped up plastic carriers to be driven to a machine in Tacoma where they would be run through the vote counter machine. EVERY election before this one we always had three machines at our precinct (we are on an island) so we ahve one precinct, I raised hell with the captain, and I am betting it probably got "lost" on the way. The Chicago Way, 1960 - voting machines in Lake Michigan.....
