To: Citizen Soldier

I agree if you talk about Seattle (don’t know about Tacoma), but rural WA is very conservative and maybe the Obama presidency will motivate them. I have a bunch of friends in Colville who can’t wait for the next election.

Tacoma is more conservative, but the population is smaller than King County, and the political machine is in King County, the state is more conservative than the Seattle area, just like Oregon is conservative on the outskirts of Portland, but they have the machine and greater population. Liberals have ruined two beautiful states.

We voted in the last '08 election and our ballots were placd in taped up plastic carriers to be driven to a machine in Tacoma where they would be run through the vote counter machine. EVERY election before this one we always had three machines at our precinct (we are on an island) so we ahve one precinct, I raised hell with the captain, and I am betting it probably got "lost" on the way. The Chicago Way, 1960 - voting machines in Lake Michigan.....
