Rep. Joe Wilson's wife Roxanne has been diagnosed with swine flu, the congressman's office confirmed to CNN on Thursday.
The South Carolina Republican who gained instant notoriety in September for shouting "You lie!" at the president told The Hill newspaper on Thursday that he plans to keep his distance from his wife when he returns home this weekend.
Wilson said he plans to get the H1N1 vaccination soon, but only after "the majority of the American people" receive it.

Hope she gets well fast.
My g-daughter had it two weeks ago, and it only lasted three days. She said it was like a very bad cold, but she had to stay in bed for a couple of days, she was so weak.
I wonder why some people get so much sicker than others?

Joe can have my vaccine. It will be a cold day in hell before the gubmint injects me with God knows what! I don’t even get the regular flu vaccine. Why would I want a vaccine of which the ingredients are still a mystery?

It is a weak strain of flu. Those with strong immune systems (25 and younger due to daycare, school, college) have a tough time because their immune systems overreact. It’s not the swine flu that is making them very sick. Vitamin D3 has been shown to prevent and treat swine flu. Best way to get vitamin D? Sunshine!

Found this interesting also: “Rep. Greg Walden, R-Washington, is the only member of Congress to have contracted swine flu. He tweeted the news on Monday, revealing plans to head off to “seclusion for a while” while he recovers.”
