Children's explanation of why Obama won....
10/22/2009 | conservativesister

Received this in an e-mail yesterday, best explanation I've seen yet.

--From a teacher in the Nashville area "We are worried about 'the cow' when it is all about the 'Ice Cream.' The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year... The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest. I decided we would have an election for a class president. We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote. To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members. We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have. We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot. The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids. I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother. The day arrived when they were to make their speeches. Jamie went first. He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best. Everyone applauded and he sat down. Now is was Olivia's turn to speak. Her speech was concise. She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." She sat down. The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream." She surely would say more. She did not have to. A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn't sure. Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it. She didn't know. The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream. Jamie was forgotten. Olivia won by a landslide.

Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth he offered ice cream and 52 percent of the people reacted like nine year olds. They want ice cream. The other 48 percent know they're going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess." This is the ice cream Obama promised us! - A Cow Pie. Remember, the government cannot give anything to anyone -- that they have not first taken away from someone else.

And the weird thing about Obama is that he hates the "cow" as much as he loves the "ice cream".

Apparently, he believes the government can make the ice cream without a cow but hasn't offered any ideas as to how...unless, that is, one takes into account Michelle's statement that "Obama will require you to work..."

For some reason, I get the idea that under the Obama plan—which will not offer you the opportunity to work, but will require it—the citizens will get skim milk, while Obama gets the ice cream and butter.

The Obamacare plan will probably distribute health care in much the same way as his ice cream plan...those favored by Obama get the ice cream care while the rest get the skim milk, if any is left over.

Or just eliminate the grade system altogether...to make sure that no one works hard.

I can't wait to drive a car or fly in an airliner built by a manufacturing equivalent of the U.S. Post Office.

Won't that be exciting!

“Obama will require you to work...”

Well, I have been working, going on 45 years now. IT IS THE OTHER PEOPLE WHO THINK I OWE them something that need to work for what they need/want. I grew up in the trailer parks of west Texas as the son of an oil field roughneck, which is about as blue collar as you can get. I did not want that life for myself and I worked to get what I now have: reasonable comfort and success.

Now bho and the feds are going to take it away? Not without a fight they won't.

When Obama says he will required you to work, you can bet it isn't at a job of YOUR choosing.

The good jobs, if any, will go to his cronies.

That's when the fight starts....
My oath to defend the Constitution has NOT expired.

I will not be “slave labor” in some re-education camp. (If you don't count the federal income taxes I have to pay as slave labor.)

2banana you got a 95 on the test. Well, you don’t need all 95 points to pass. An 80 is good enough for you, so that will be your grade. We’ll take those 15 points from your test and give them to Billy, who didn’t study much and couldn’t pass the test. Now our class average looks better, and everyone is happy.

Now about your paycheck from your part time job after school. You don’t really need all that money, do you?

Anyone remember the Zero speech during the summer of the campaign. I think it was in Flori-duh.

He was talking about how the poor don’t get the “piece of the pie” (said in ghetto dialect). And how the crowd went wild. I think they were even chanting “We want pie”.

This is almost not a parable. It’s *exactly* how it went down.

The ordinary American is unable to hold more than one thought in his/her mind at one time. Here, the thought was “ice cream.” Last November, the thought was “first Black president.”

-- This is almost not a parable. It's *exactly* how it went down. --

And will continue to go down. A bit more than half of the public looks to the government for solutions, and the government asserts that it is the best source for solution. Social decline is inevitable under this system and belief set, because it flies in the face of human nature - to keep most of what one produces, and to share as a matter of charity, not compulsion.

They were intentionally dumbed down to that level for this very purpose - to put a Marxist in power.
