The ordinary American is unable to hold more than one thought in his/her mind at one time. Here, the thought was “ice cream.” Last November, the thought was “first Black president.”
Reminds me of the fable of the Goose That Layed The Golden Egg.
Perhaps the story was never read in O’s private schools but we read the story in public schools and learned the intended message.
