While channel surfing I accidentally breezed by CNN and paused just long enough to see Wittle Wicky trying to be a good wittle boy and show a police helicopter being shot down by some criminals. He wasn't even trying to be subtle. He came right out and said with incredulity something like - and this is where the 2016 Olympics will be held. CNN isn't being just a little transparent are they?

This morning Fox ran a story like this too. What happened in Rio was pretty nasty. Fox showed the helicopter crashing too.
Perhaps the shooting sports will regain the lustre of previous years.
The simple fact is that Rio is one of the most dangerous cities in the world. That said, I still am glad that the Obama crime syndicate won’t be getting money from the olympics.

Here here. I’m sure if it was going to take $50 billion or so to build the Olympic venues and infrastructure, BO was going to funnel $100 billion (or more) just to pay off the Chicago cronies. For that, I’m glad Chicago didn’t get it and the American taxpayers didn’t get hit any further with unnecessary wasteful spending.

Rio is what you would expect in a third world country, rich side/poor sides of town.
That said, I like the fact that they picked that city over Obama!

Geez, louise, I know Chicago has violence, as do all big cities. But in Rio the gangs are brazen enough to shoot down a police helicopter? Geez, louise. Hopefully not coming to a city near us.
It wasn't exactly old news since the shootings happened over the past weekend in the recently named 2016 Olympic venue.
Sorry I was thinking about the helicopter they shot down years ago in the slum.
