AFGHANISTAN: PRESIDENT CLAIMS ISLAMIC MILITANTS USING HELICOPTERS TO MOVE INTO NORTHERN AREAS "

Islamic militants operating in northern Afghanistan are being dropped in by helicopter, Afghan President Hamid Karzai says.

The provincial governor of Kunduz added separately the fighters are members of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan. According to Karzai, militants used unidentified helicopters to move fighters into position along the border with Tajikistan over the past five months. The same technique may be used to transport men to the north-western frontier with Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, he added."

WE don’t have the assets there to take down those sorry choppers? What kind of war are we fighting over there?

We should be able to verify this with one pass-over of a satellite. And, if true, we should be able to kill those choppers with one pass-over of a gun ship.

“What kind of war are we fighting over there?”

An obamastan war, which is a slaughterhouse for American soldiers.

The key thing to note here is that this has been going on for 5 months. What happened 5 months ago? Ostammer’s new “strategy” got underway.

Ostammer doesn’t want any air firing. I believe what you suggest would be outside his ROEs.

Reminds me of another historical discussion of Allied air superiority.

I cannot fathom for one second that we do not control all the airspace in the surrounding area......if it is flying, not on an airline clearance, it comes down.

Obama refuses to issue a National Security Policy.

The US military is rudderless.

We know about aircraft coming into the AOR. Obama has no plan or is allowing it.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s offered up choppers to help them mobilize attacks.
